Vore porn comes in all shapes and sizes, from popular anime characters eating each other to enormous, ferocious dragons gobbling up villagers. For too long, internet denizens (read: people on Twitter) have looked down at vore as a strange testament to human sexuality.
But vore isn’t strange. It’s just a complicated fantasy, one enjoyed by its participants for both sexual and non-sexual reasons.

Vore is short for “vorarephilia.” Psychologist Mark Griffiths defines it as a sexual desire that causes arousal by “the idea of being eaten, eating another person, and/or observing this process for sexual gratification.” While most media coverage on vore centers around straight cis men, vore is immensely popular across genders and sexualities, including queer women and nonbinary folks.
Most vore fantasies involve a person or creature orally consuming another, or a “predator” voring their “prey.” Sometimes the predator and prey are the same size, which is called “same-size vore.” Other times, the predator is colossal, and their meal comfortably fits into their mouth, better known as “macro vore.” While oral vore is one of the most common forms of consumption, several other categories exist, including:

Vore isn’t rooted in sexual cannibalism, nor should it be confused with a literal, physical desire to eat another person. Rather, vore is about power and control. Just as a giantess fan’s morals would kick in if she actually turned into a giantess, vore fans have no interest in eating or beating eaten by another person in real life.
Like its sister fetish macrophilia , people without the fetish have a hard time understanding vore’s appeal. Case in point, one parent asked Slate’s sex advice columnist Rich Juzwiak for guidance on their teen’s soft vore fetish. In response, Juzwiak argues there’s nothing wrong with liking vore, instead suggesting people may be predisposed to fetishes.
“People don’t seem to find an image and get fixated on it,” Toronto Sexuality Centre Director James M. Cantor explained, according to Slate. “Rather, it’s when we happen to run into an image that matches (or closely matches) whatever internal template we already have that we experience something profound.”
People gravitate to vore for different reasons. Some kinksters enjoy being physically dominated by their predator. I actually have something new I've just about finished up, but I realized that what I have to say about this one has to do with that one, so I've decided to post this first.
For a while I was actually unsure about posting this at all. There are a lot of things I don't like about it, but it is done, so I may as well put it up. So please ignore how messed up their hooves look, and also the fact that Celestia can apparently rotate her head in a full 270 degree arc like an owl.
So, this is going to sound weird, but this is kind of a really personal piece for me.
The thing is, I've been thinking about what vore... means to me, I guess? Maybe more like what it is exactly that I like about it.
Digestion has almost nothing to do with it for me. I honestly kind of hate that part. I mean, it's death and pain, after all. And that's just not what I look for in my fetish porn.
Okay, to be completely honest... I do have a bit of a morbid fascination with it. There is something about a person melting down inside another, being digested and turning to fat on the body, just becoming food, isn't there? I mean, again, I'm definitely not a fan of the pain and death parts of digestion, but if you just kind of pretend they don't exist, I do have this, well, again, morbid fascination with the concept.
But anyway, for me, vore is more about endosomatophilia. In other words, one person completely inside another (or another creature, at least). Vore just happens to be the simplest way to make this happen.
Again, I (in general) tend to dislike the digestion part and ignore it completely. At one point, I even said that there's only one 'version' of all my characters, they just always manage to escape whoever ate them in the last comic through a series of highly improbable events. I believe I have one picture, total, where there's implied digestion.
But even that isn't specific enough.
While I do really enjoy, for example, Karbo's work, there's something about the micro/macro thing that just doesn't quite do it for me. What I really like is when the prey is roughly the size of the predator, and they get jammed inside and are cramped and squeezed. I also really enjoy when you can see the outline of the prey in the stomach. But not too much; I'm not a fan of what I call “Garbage Bag Syndrome” when it comes to bellies. I'm not calling anyone out here or anything, but I shouldn't be able to see nipples through someone's skin. Or, in some of the more extreme cases, literally see like their eyes and even the irises of their eyes.
So, one day, I realized what this was all about.
It's about BDSM.
Bondage, being tied up, being put in a skintight latex outfit, that doesn't really do it for me.
But when the skintight suit is another person? Yeah, that sets me off.
And the D/S part really works well with it. It's the ultimate way to dominate someone, right? They're inside someone. That person basically has complete control over them.
So those two things, together, sort of combine into the ultimate form of my vore fetish.
Now, I don't really care for the M part of BDSM. Again, pain and death aren't really my things.
But as far as digestion goes, there is something really hot about someone being turned to fat on someone else's body. Again, it's kind of the ultimate Dom thing. That person was just food, and is now literally part of that other person's body. I've had some ideas for sentient fat that I've thought about, but haven't really done anything with yet.
So... this picture.
Like I said, it's sort of personal, because I think this is sort of the ultimate form of vore for me. You've got people shoved inside other people (but safely—you'll notice they're tied firmly in place so they can be retrieved). You've got the obvious latex suit thing going on with the people inside. And you've got one person firmly in control. Oh, also, there's incest, because it's hot when it's lesbians.
Like, I don't get instantly horny looking at this or anything. I actually don't with any of my stuff; I do at first when I'm coming up with the idea and it's a fantasy, but once it's drawn I have zero attraction to it. Well, okay, that's kind of a lie. Once enough time has passed and I forget about drawing it, I can get turned on a bit.
And honestly there are more scenarios, other people's comics and images, that I like better than this piece. This is sort of me just starting to play around with the concepts I've identified.
Also, on the subject of control, everything happening here is fully consensual. The characters might make it seem like it isn't, but it is. Again, it's part of the D/S thing; they're being humiliated and degraded, and it may look like they don't enjoy it, but they really do. They have safe words they'd say if they didn't.
Bit of a side tangent here, but about consent. I've been thinking about that Room Service comic I made a long time ago. You know, the one where the catgirl basically gets raped by a deergirl with a dick for like thirty pages before being swallowed? Well, here's the thing about that. When I was coming up with that story, when I was fantasizing about it, I didn't see myself as the one with the dick.
Like I said, it's the humiliation and degradation thing that I really enjoy. And, it turns out, that's the side I want to be on. I mean, not me personally. But like... I would want to be one of the 'sub' characters in my comics. If you put my mind in the body of the person this stuff is happening to, I would enjoy it. If that makes any sense.

That little what I prefer with my vore as well. Mostly the dom pred but also prefer being the prey. Prefer a painless digestion though. Even though I write some story’s mostly about fatal ends. I like the dominating aspect of it, and would prefer most story’s ending in a reformed aspect that they come back from and life goes on.
Don’t like full on torture or anything painful or a lot of gore. At most a light spank just for a small sting is what I prefer at the most. But the concept of digestion them into a sludge of liquid without any pain is just perfect.
This artwork I love a lot of the details expect the broken horn...feels like I’m literally breaking a bone...ouch...but yeah...still like the artwork.
“An old family movie” kinda inspired my first story I wrote from that artwork and I still love that that one. Still feel like adding my own ending of additional story with Velvet...or small edit to most story’s so it has a ‘happier’ endings but, I’m a little lazy trying to add more to them even if it’s just 500 words from the prey waking up and forgetting what happened. Trying to added reformation into up coming works

Nah, don't worry about the horns. They just pop off and on. Like Legos!
But really, the fact that so many of these characters have foot-long spikes sticking out of their heads makes things... tricky, when it comes to vore. I think from now I'm going to stick with just making them all little nubs rather than literal spearheads.
Makes it easier if you think they can’t feel or just can come off like that lol. Amit I like the horn poking out but seems really awkward for a prey swallowing. If anything pred just have stretchy throats the just slips right in without getting stuck, specially getting some of those flanks down with no trouble
