How about removing the shit products from the market; for example we all know that light bulbs were originally made to last decades but try buy that today when a corporation must at all costs keep their products rushing out the door else its not worth having the rich bastards buying up all of the light bulb companies to corner the market and make them their annual billions in profits in the first place. This is one very good example of the state of our Bernaysian society whom the elite delighted in 70 years ago. This underscores my position that it can never be the governments or the people who can foment desperately needed change, it is only the richest who must and who remain the sole powers that can do so. What complete bastards (as Vivian would say) for the group to lay blame at the feet of nations and expound that an untenable agreement could possibly be the crux of their ill begotten argument. If we want change then it can only be done by recognising that the Bernaysian ideals of greed (Brother to Game Theory) gleefully upheld by the world economic elite is at the core of all of our ills and that society must be changed from the top down in order to achieve that goal.
So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?"
