Bcnex Review – Account & Security

In this article, we will review the account, wallet, customer support and security measures provided by Bcnex. The account dashboard is convenient and easy to navigate. Let’s take a look.

Account

KYC

Strict KYC procedure is required. Alongside personal documents, a selfie with the current date is mandatory. This provides maximum legitimacy to the KYC procedure and prevents identity scams.

2FA

2-factor authentication is enabled. Actually, you are not allowed to upload KYC documents, without the 2FA set up, which is really smart and protects the users. SMS Authentication is an option, too, but as we all know, google authentication is much more safe.

Anti-Phishing Code

A cool new feature I see for the first time ever is the anti-phishing code. You enter a personal code in your admin panel, and from that point on, all the emails you receive from Bcnex will contain your code. This way you will know, that the email is coming from the exchange and not from scammers. This is an innovative approach, that adds another layer of security.

Login History

Furthermore, the admin panel shows you the last login times and IPs, alongside with the devices it was accessed from. For logging-in from a new device, you need to confirm it by email. I tried and tested every step of the way and it works flawlessly with no delays.

To sum up, all the popular security measures are present and even some more. Great job from Bcnex. There is no surprise that the exchange is compliant with Vietnamese regulations.

Wallet

The wallet looks clean and simplistic. Only 7 coins are available for now, but more will be added in the future. You can see the total balance, available balance, coins on orders, pending and the BTC equivalent value. The interface has useful references to the transactions history and trading history. Navigating the admin panel has been a pleasure. It didn’t require much thought and annoying wondering what is where.

Testnet Wallets

Bcnex are currently running a testnet version of the exchange. Testnet wallets are created and play tokens are distributed to the users for participating in a gamified trading competition. You can join and test all the features yourself.

Setting up an account with Bcnex takes no more than 5 minutes. And passing the KYC procedure also went pretty quick. My documents were approved in less than 24 hours time, although the official period is said to be 48 hours.

I find everything I need in the account panel and there isn’t a single unnecessary page. Simplistic, simple, convenient.

Customer Support

There is a comprehensive FAQ section and a lot of educational explanatory articles helping users with their experience on the platform. Live chat is available and a representative responded to my request quickly. Comments and questions in the telegram group are entertained as well on a regular basis.
