The 56-year-old weather presenter revealed there are people who superimpose her face onto the bodies of naked women and put the photograph online.
She said there were lots of images claiming to be her on the internet, but insisted none of them were really her.
“There are so many naked pictures that claim to be me but aren’t, just my head stuck on other women’s bodies,” she explained in an interview with Radio Times in 2013.
“My friends send them to me. Thanks very much!”

The BBC Breakfast reporter is admired by many and is sometimes sent X-rated photos by some of her more daring fans.
At times the explicit content has been so crude Carol has had to block men who send her unsavoury messages and images online.
“I never know what to say when people ask me about the pictures, but it is true,” Carol told BT.com in 2015.
“I don’t think I’m the only person,” she sheepishly added. “I think lots of people get them. It’s not just me.”
Admitting she finds the fan mail a little awkward, she continued: “I find it a bit embarrassing. I find talking about it even more embarrassing.”
The TV personality is often inundated with compliments about her appearance from both male and female admirers.
Last year, her BBC Breakfast colleague Dan Walker, 41, paid tribute to her on Instagram after she visited the Salford studio where he works.
The presenter praised the meteorologist for bringing a “smile to everyone’s face” and said she was a “joy-spreader”.
Sharing a stunning black and white picture of the meteorologist, the broadcaster penned: “There are some people who brighten every room.
“Carol Kirkwood is normally in the weather studio in London, but today she was in the BBC Breakfast studio in Salford.”
He continued: “She put a smile on everyone’s face (she did bring chocolate). Carol is a joy-spreader and we love her.”

Carol looked phenomenal in the monochrome photograph and donned a stylish printed shirt for the glamorous photoshoot.
Fans of the star went wild for the picture, with many leaving her compliments in the comment section below the image.
One admirer wrote: “What a stunning photo of a lovely lady,” while another shared: “A lovely photograph of a beautiful lady.”
A third fan added: “She literally is like a ray of sunshine even when she’s telling us we’ll be getting awful weather she still seems to sugar coat it for us bless her. Love you, Carol.”
Someone else gushed: “Love Carol, she’s just always so bright and cheerful a beautiful lady inside and out.”

BBC Breakfast presenter Carol Kirkwood has been caught up in a sleazy photo scam after online trolls claimed to have x-rated images of her.
One file sharing site said it had ‘explicit, close-up’ pictures of the weather forecaster after naming her among other celebrities to previously fall victim to image leaks.
But it is understood no images have actually been uploaded to the web of the 54-year-old.

A source told The Sun it would be a ‘huge shock’ to Kirkwood, who previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
The source said: ‘She is just a nice normal woman and not used to be named in such a way.’
A spokesperson for the BBC told MailOnline: 'These are false claims. Any photos this website has are fake.'
The paper said other names on the list include Coronation Street actress and former Hear’Say singer Kym Marsh, 40, and the girlfriend of former Arsenal and Celtic striker Anthony Stokes, Eilidh Scott, 25, who had her iCloud account hacked for a second time.
It comes after comments by Kirkwood last week sent fans into a frenzy after she admired a 'fine piece of wood'.
The presenter was fronting the weather report from the Woolwich Pier for the Tall Ships Regatta, and made the passing comment about the wheel of one ship.
But the admiration was deemed 'filth' by one viewer, and another even dubbed it an Alan Partridge moment.
Earlier in the week BBC Presenter Dan Walker had his own Partridge moment when he called Carol a 'big tease'.
Last week Kirkwood caused a stir online after admiring a 'fine piece of wood' at the Tall Ships Regatta at Woolwich Pier
It prompted fans to go into a frenzy on Twitter, with one describing her comments as 'absolute filth'
Walker told the weather forecaster she was a 'tease' when she ran out of time for her weather report so had to leave the Easter forecast until the next slot.
MailOnline has approached Kirkwood's representatives for comment.
The photo claims over Kirkwood come days after nude pictures were allegedly leaked online of Hollywood stars including Kate Hudson and Rosario Dawson.
Topless images supposedly of Miley Cyrus were also shared online last week.
