Baywatch is an American drama television series about lifeguards who patrol the beaches of Los Angeles County, California, and Hawaii, starring David Hasselhoff.
FOX Entertainment and Fremantle are holding an Open Casting Call for the new FOX action series Baywatch, marking the return of the world's most iconic lifeguards to television.
The remastering of Baywatch was made possible because it was originally shot on high quality 35mm film. Through a painstaking process, the original negatives have been scanned, digitized and then re-edited to recreate the entire series in glorious, widescreen HD.
To save their beach, elite lifeguard Mitch Buchannon and a former Olympian probe a criminal plot that threatens the future of the bay.
