Basically what the title says, but I'm surprised more people haven't talked about this.
For a brief moment a few days ago, a singer named Chess Galea posted a tweet saying she wrote and performed two songs for Bayo 3: the "whispers of destiny" one we've heard snippets of, and another song we have yet to hear - perhaps the Fly Me to the Moon/Moon River successor?
She even liked a few fans' replies to her announcement, and some other Bayo related tweets the same day.
But soon after, she deleted the original announcement, as well as a few replies to fans. It was only maybe 30 minutes to an hour after announcing that everything was gone.
Unfortunately I didn't think her tweet would disappear so soon, so this quote retweet in a community I'm a member of is the best I can do for a screenshot
If I recall correctly, a fan asked if she could share lyrics and she said she couldn't yet, but they'd be "revealed soon." But that's gone, along with all the other posts and replies she deleted.
EDIT: Someone else asked if the second song in the most recent trailer (the more emotional, Celine Dion-Titanic-ish one) was her song. It's not, she sang a third* song.
Although, she did respond later to a fan who joked about her Bayo songs.
I'm guessing SEGA/Platinum/Nintendo said it was too soon to make any such statements. Possibly a similar situation to Hellena Taylor's NDA regarding her voice work (or lack thereof) for this game. I wonder how this stuff works, considering Tommie Earl Jenkins was allowed to announce he was cast back in January
I know this is almost delusional levels of fan speculation, but IMO the music is one of the most important facets of the Bayonetta series, so this was interesting news. It seems like everything disappeared before most fans could notice though.
