2016 political correctness. This is 1918, Germany has no African colonies. Why does it have black soldiers! This makes no sense. I understand England and US, but Germany just isn't historically correct.
All about that political correctness cancer
They get to dictate the history of the war by trying to shove their ideologies down our throat, yet they had no contribution to WW1 and actually helped the Nazis in WW2 by selling them millions of tonnes of steel.
Considering they are being overrun by muslim immigrants, Im suprised we cant use vehicles or horses to "jeep jihad" tanks anymore.

It's bizarre to me that France is not included in the base game, the one faction that actually had a lot of black soldiers.
It's even weirder to want your diversity to extend to the German Empire.
I feel like most people wouldnt have even known black troops existed in ww1 if DICE didnt represent them which subsequently triggers a bunch of newb historians (The OP is an example of this by his statement of "Germany has no African colonies"). I agree though that it is a slight over-representation. Maybe DICE just couldnt be bothered to make it historically accurate to the detail and at the same time maintain their other agendas of PC and marketing
Yeah they had black troops, but no where near how many regular white Germans. It looks very silly to see 4 out of 7 black Germans running on the battlefield. It's too late to change him to a white soldier because that would make DICE and EA look terrible. But he shouldn't have been there in the first place.
The Germans had black soldiers fighting in their african colonies in 1918. If DICE wanted to involve black german troops they should have made a map in german africa.
Germany had black soldiers in WWI. In Africa.
No maps in Africa that includes Germany in bf1.
And even then they would represent nowhere near 25% of the army.
