The Recovery

MLB attendance has recovered from COVID restrictions to approximately 70 million total fans -- approximately 95 percent of the 2019 pre-pandemic baseline. The recovery is real. The attendance distribution across markets is less uniform: several large-market teams draw near capacity while several small-market teams average well below 20,000 per game.

The Demographic Concern
