Base Airdrop Is Coming — How to Position Now

JeetDrops

Jesse Pollak confirmed it in September 2025: Base is exploring a token. Not "if," but "when."

If you've been sleeping on Base, wake up. This could be the biggest L2 airdrop since Arbitrum ($ARB), which went as high as $8B fully diluted at peak.

Why Base Is Different

Most L2 airdrops reward early adopters. Base has that, but it also has something unique: Coinbase's 110M+ user base. When they airdrop, they can afford to be generous.

The 3-Tier Strategy

I'm farming Base across three layers:

Tier 1: Base Chain Activity — Bridge ETH, make 10+ transactions, hold activity for 3+ months. Use the official Base Bridge at least once.

Tier 2: Coinbase Ecosystem — Create a Coinbase Smart Wallet and link it to your account. This is key. Base is Coinbase's baby, expect preferential treatment for Smart Wallet users.

Tier 3: Base Protocols — Farm the 9 Base projects tracked on JeetDrops: Paradex (perp DEX), YO Protocol (yield optimizer), Sova (BTC bridge), Beezie (NFT marketplace), and more.

What I'm Actually Doing

Weekly routine (30 min): 2 swaps on Base, 1 Paradex trade, 1 new dApp interaction, check JeetDrops for new farms.

One-time setup: Smart Wallet created, Base domain minted, $200 bridged, Coinbase One subscribed (I trade enough that fees justify it).

The Anti-Sybil Reality

Coinbase knows your identity. Running 50 wallets won't work. One high-quality wallet with real activity > 50 bot wallets.

Snapshot Paranoia

No one knows when the snapshot will happen. Could be tomorrow. Could be 9 months from now. Safe assumption: Any activity from now until TGE could count.

The Bet

I've farmed 50+ airdrops. The ones backed by billion-dollar companies (Coinbase) with real revenue ($3B in 2024) and 110M users don't come around often.

Base isn't some anon team. It's Coinbase openly building an L2 to own the next cycle's infrastructure. If they airdrop, it'll be one of the biggest.
