LSD is vigorous and hardy and can be grown by beginners BUT if you want a rewarding experience you should take into account some of its peculiarities. The lower branches have many bud sites and if you want them to fill out use some additional CFLs for the bottom growth. The colas get really fat and dense which invites mold in the last couple of weeks so humidity control is a must at this time. This weed is uncommonly resinous which makes it a great choice for hash production. The plants have an intense smell in flowering. This is a top-notch outdoor strain for those who live in a warm temperate climate with dry and sunny autumn. The particular phenol type I started only grew to approx. Extremely leafy, but covered in crystals. It smelled heavily of flowery mint with a diesel finish. After cut and dry the aroma changed into a strong skunky diesel, mint still lingering on exhale as well as a bit of lime. As for the high, definitely good for pain, muscles feel a bit more relaxed than I like but lack of spinal pain is a massive plus. I have had no problems with this plant. She was from a feminised seed and responds quite well to all growing conditions. This report is about pheno 2 and 3. Tall, lanky, stretched, ok looking bud but not nearly as much as with pheno 1. Best pheno out of 10 feminized seeds was the best plant in the garden of 30 girls. Hermied from feminized seeds in the first week of flower. Leaves are green to dark green but look muck lighter in color due to the amount of resin glands covering this bud. It is covered in crystals! Perfect bud size to grab and pinch into a bowl. Strong sweet smell even before breaking up a bud. Very similar to smell and very enjoyable. More piney in taste than smell.
