The new body styles in the Fashionista line has been so wonderful, that I have restarted collecting Barbies. I really like this one and appreciate that the Petite body style is much like that of a young teen. I think it is a great body style to buy for young girls because it is more relate-able to them. The face mold used on this Barbie is not familiar to me but I think it is really beautiful. The doll is a petite body style and the face looks appropriate in size to the body. Petite Barbie, compared to regular Barbie, is much shorter and is proportionately smaller in many areas. Her hands, legs, body, etc. all fit with her new height. Finding clothes that fit this body style has been a bit of a problem (too long, too big at the waist, etc.) This set, with three outfits that absolutely fit perfect is a great way to expand play time by letting your Petite girls switch their clothes. Barbie's hair is beautiful. It is waist length and has violet on one side and blue on the other. Each colorway is made up of two tones (light and medium) which looks stunning in person. Her eyes are two-tone brown. Her skin is medium brown and her lips are a light peach/pink that comes across neutral. Her brows are a medium deep brown and are painted on as are her eyelashes. No nail polish. Blue Violet Barbie's body is proportionate to her shorter height, so everything is on a more petite scale. Her legs appear hollow and do not bend except at the hips. Her feet are the new flat foot style and seem to be the close to or the same size as that of a Standard Barbie's feet. Her arms are straight with the palms pointing down and slight outward. Her fingers are separated for the most part with only the third and fourth fingers fused together. She is a good half-head shorter than a regular Barbie and a full head shorter than the new tall Barbie. There are three outfits included in this set. All pieces, except the ankle jeans close with hook and loop at the back. The jeans have an elastic pull-on waist. All of the accessories/shoes are plastic. First Outfit: Barbie arrives wearing a two piece outfit. The shorts are non-stretch woven weathered jean look with the bright pink transparent stockings attached to the bottom of the shorts. I wish these had been separate but it works okay as-is. Her top is stretch white with a black bow print. She wears a black headband with a molded bow. Her shoes are yellow platforms. These shoes run a little large and don't fit her great with her stockings off. Perhaps they are stretched out? Second Outfit: Slightly worn looking ankle jeans. These are of a stretch material and they look good and fit a little loose at the waist but nothing to object to. The stretchy top is shiny pink with a very subtle light pink flower print. It has a black collar and the top hits petite Barbie at hip level. I paired this with the white tennis shoes and the bright pink shoulder bag. Third Outfit: A stretchy sleeveless dress in yellow with yellow flower print all-over. The dress has an over spray of multi-tone pastel glitter for a nice bit of pizzazz. I paired the dress with the light teal heart-shaped bag and both the yellow platforms and white tennis shoes look great with it. I decided to try the clothes on the other Barbie bodies. Curvy, as expected, pretty much failed on all points except the two tops. They fit her a little short and tight but looked good. Tall Barbie could wear the tops as well and the dress but the pants were too short and I didn't try the shorts as it was obvious the attached nylons were too short. The dress was definitely on the short side. Standard Barbie could wear everything (including shoes) except for the shorts, which were, again, too short due to the nylons. The clothes that Fit Standard and Tall Barbie were short due to their height and definitely tighter. The accessories all fit with the exception of the shoes. The shoes only fit on the Petite and Standard Barbies. Hopefully, Mattel will make some stand-alone clothing packs for these new dolls.

Petite and Beautiful Barbie with delightful four tone hair

This is my first fashionista, but I fell in love with her as soon as I saw the face and hair. Took a little doing to find her, but I'm so glad I did. I rebodied her to a MTM brunette ponytail, for the articulation (perfect match, if you can't find a yellow top), although the trade off is that some outfits don't fit now. I have other dolls that can wear them, so that's okay. The yellow dress does fit, although it is tight and very short - micromini territory, though it does look stunning. The hair is very soft and easy to style. It has an almost silvered look blended in with the two main tones, so it looks dimensional. The headband is held on with a plastic tag and elastic, which I had no trouble in removing. (If kids are playing with her, might be best to leave it in place, so it doesn't get lost) Her face is very sweet and expressive. Her makeup isn't too heavy - I prefer more natural, subtle looks on my dolls - so it is perfect for me. I'm looking forward to getting more outfits for her and putting her into fun poses.
This is what my daughter wanted for Chrismas, and they don't sell this particular Fashionista here (remote Europe), so I had to order her. Usually it takes at least one week and up to three weeks for items I order from Amazon.com to arrive but this time it arrived in only 3 days right to my door, I didn't even have to go to post office to pick her! I'm amazed by that. Package was a bit ripped open from one side, but that can happen easily with these lightly packed Barbie dolls. No complains - I prefer these easy-to-open boxes over the ones that you need a chainsaw to open. I can fix that with a bit of tape and the receiver of this gift won't notice a thing. The doll and all her accessories are in perfect condition, just as pictured. The doll is very pretty and unique, I love her different style, she looks like a teenager who prefers alternative fashion. She would be even more perfect with articulation in knees/elbows. She has the Mbili face sculpt and the skin tone of S.I.S. Grace/Yellow top Made to Move.
This petite Barbie is really striking with her dual-toned hair. I gave mine a different eye and lip color but I'm really happy with her. The fashions included are a bit hit-and-miss.. I like the yellow platform flats, the heart purse and the pink top, but the shorts, white bow-themed top not so much. My pink tights were terribly made and came with holes in the feet :( And the yellow dress is cute but has been sprayed with glitter glue, giving it a gross, stiff feel.

Great Doll, OK Clothes

The Barbie Fashionistas line is hard to resist, and this doll is no exception. She is shorter than original Barbie and has an adorable face (Mbili sculpt) and cool two-toned hair. My daughter loves her! Minus one star for limited articulation, but I am happy to report that she is an exact body match for the yellow top Made to Move Barbie doll if you want better articulation and don't mind the extra cost and a good 'ol head swap. The extra outfits are a plus, but her shorts and tights are one piece, which my daughter found disappointing as she had hoped to mix up the pieces a little more.
I bought this set not for the doll but for the clothes. I was very pleased with my purchase as I already had two petite dolls that needed their wardrobes expanded. I redressed the doll and passed it on to a happy little girl. The clothing is well made and the accessories are cute.

Perfect Petite doll!
What a lovely doll! She has a gorgeous cute face. Her hair is streaked with white in person rather than being solidly coloured. Aside from this she is exactly as she appears in her stock photo, including her pose. Her outfits are great, very attractive and well made. The yellow shift is very 1960s and has a glittery sheen that isn't detectable in the photo. Her tights are attached to her shorts and look fairly delicate, but it's possible to get them off without any damage if you're careful. (Just don't leave them near any exposed velcro!) The pink and blue ensemble is my favourite and goes beautifully with her hair. This doll's flat feet make her slightly shorter than almost all my other Petites (the only other one I have with flat feet is Nice In Nautical) but mean she can stand up by herself which is a nice touch. Best of all, there is no apparent leakage of glue from her head. Fingers crossed she'll be OK, as the glue head syndrome is notorious among the Fashionistas and (in my experience) tends to be more prevalent in the older editions that have been in their packaging longer. Overall she's delightful and gets five stars. Great item for kids and collectors alike.
