Banquet for Fools — мрачное фэнтезийное приключение с открытым миром, где расследование загадочного исчезновения быстро превращается в опасное путешествие по проклятому острову. После того как жители одного из поселений бесследно пропадают, четверо добровольцев из стражи отправляются через Инвимону, чтобы найти ответы. Но чем дальше они заходят, тем сильнее остров раскрывает свою жестокую природу — с древними тайнами, языческими обрядами, грабителями могил и силами, которые не спешат отпускать чужаков.

Banquet for Fools is a dark open-world fantasy adventure where the investigation of a mysterious disappearance quickly turns into a dangerous journey across a cursed island. After the inhabitants of one farm hold vanish without a trace, four volunteer guards are sent across Invimona to uncover the truth. But the farther they travel, the more the island reveals its brutal nature — ancient secrets, pagan rites, grave robbers, and forces that do not easily let outsiders leave.
One of the game’s biggest strengths is its party-based structure, where companions feel like more than just units in battle. Each one has their own stats, strengths, and unique dialogue options, and over time they begin to form relationships and develop their own group dynamics. Exploration is built around independence and attention to detail: there is no auto-compass, no heavy hand-holding, and learning how to move through the island is part of the adventure itself.
Combat in Banquet for Fools blends party tactics with brawl-style real-time encounters that can be paused for decisions. You control one guard at a time, switch leaders on the fly, chain attacks together, and shape your team through equipment, skills, songs, pagan spells, and different combat roles. That gives the game room for very different playstyles, whether you want to focus on weapons and armor, magic, music, stealth, or unusual hybrids.
Banquet for Fools stands out through its harsh old-world fantasy atmosphere, where law, faith, violence, and survival constantly collide.
