BananaDroid install steps for lavender

To install BananaDroid in your Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 [lavender] first you need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery [we recommend the last OrangeFox that you can download from here: https://us-dl.orangefox.download/632790823c05f43c193c0ab7].
if you have this steps ready now download the BananaDroid ZIP from: BananaDroid - Manage /lavender at SourceForge.net

There is two variants of BananaDroid

• GApps

It has already installed Google play services and another apps from Google

• Vanilla

It is BananaDroid pure experience without additions so you can select your GApps package, use FOSS apps or just nothing.

Wen you selected your rom and downloaded it you must move it to your SDCard or another storage and install it

• Clean Flash

If you come from another ROM or Android version we recommend to do a clean flash to prevent problems

To do a clean flash reboot to the recovery, go to wipe, Format Data, type yes and reboot to recovery again
Now with Decrypted storage go to wipe, advanced wipe and just select System and Vendor and swipe.

Now go to install section, select your external device [OTG/SDCard], search, select it and swipe.

if you want to install another package like GApps, Magisk or any MOD it´s your moment, select it and swipe. If no or if you finished now just reboot and enjoy it

• Dirty Flash

We usually recommend to do a clean flash for every rom install but if you are going to install a update, have the same android version and not modified system partition a lot just use Dirty Flash

To do a dirty flash just download the ZiP, move to a external storage, reboot to a custom recovery, select the ZIP, swipe and reboot [also you can wipe cache if want but no metter].

• For people that don´t have external storage there is a solution

For us that don´t have a OTG/SDCard but want to install the ROM [and have a PC] there is a solution called Sideload

For this option you need to install ADB on your device, you can search on the web how to do

wen you have ADB installed just download the BananaDroid ZIP, reboot to recovery, go to advanced options, select ADB Sideload and swipe, now connect the phone to your PC and do

adb sideload FILENAME.zip

FILENAME == ROM downloaded name

also specific the path if u are not in the same folder
