The performance urethane ball ‘Condor’, designed by Korean golf brand Volvik (CEO Hong Seung-seok) with a new white carbon material, is receiving a lot of attention from golfers.
Condor, a name inspired by a golf score, is 4 strokes less than the standard score. In other words, in a par 5 hole, the tee shot must enter the hole to score a condor by reducing 4 strokes, and the name emphasizes that it is a urethane ball optimized for distance. Condor has a 3-piece structure, and Condor x has a 4-piece structure. The biggest feature of Condor is that it is the first golf ball to use new white carbon material technology. White carbon used in high-end tires has high density and cohesion, enabling energy transfer without loss and preventing rubber aging.
