Dead by Daylight Wiki is a FANDOM Games Community.
The Demogorgon was one of 29 Killers featured in Dead by Daylight .

It was introduced as the Killer of CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things , a Chapter DLC released on 17 September 2019, which remained available until the Chapter's departure from Dead by Daylight on 17 November 2021.

It originated from the 2016 Sci-Fi-Horror Web Television series Stranger Things .

It remains a playable Character for all Players, who had purchased The Demogorgon prior to 17 November 2021. It cannot be purchased anymore and was removed from the in-game Store. The only way to still unlock The Demogorgon retroactively is by using an existing code for CHAPTER 13: Stranger Things , which still exist in limited quantities, such as as a physical copy of the DLC or a DLC-bundle for Console.

The Demogorgon is an unidentified Killer, able to open multiple Portals and traverse between them to cover large distances. Using its Power, Of the Abyss , it can detect any Survivors within a close proximity to the Portals then unleash a leaping attack to inflict damage from a distance.

Its personal Perks, Surge , Cruel Limits , and Mindbreaker , impact the environment close to Generators and affect nearby Survivors in unexpected ways.

With the Chapter's departure from Dead by Daylight , these Perks have been replaced with a generic variant each: Jolt , Fearmonger , and Claustrophobia .

(These Killers use mechanics that are specific to them and require more practice to be effective)
A blooming mouth full of needle-like teeth for a face, large, curved, razor-sharp claws, and powerful legs to pounce on victims, make The Demogorgon a frightening monster to face in any dimension. It is a nightmare of unrestrained, feral rage as it hunts down its prey and rips it to pieces, devouring every last morsel of flesh and gore, leaving nothing for scavengers. The creature is untouched by any sense of compassion or restraint. Looming over its victim, it shows no doubt or mercy, just the pure instinct of its insatiable blood lust as it delivers the deathblow. A perfect hunter, The Demogorgon is a macabre testament to the horrors lurking in the Upside Down and why it was choice pickings for The Entity.

The Demogorgon came with 3 Perks that were unique to it until the departure of the Chapter from Dead by Daylight :

A gargantuan hand of immense strength. Its long fingers can brutalize prey.

Blood and gore drips from the stretched jaws of The Demogorgon. What became of its victim is better left unsaid.

Is that deer blood or human blood? Probably both.

Blood trickles along the slick creases of The Demogorgon's hand. The Hawkins Police may have another missing persons case on their hands.

A live subject was necessary to continue the research... except something went very wrong.

The creature was altered by the dark Fog as it hunted and fed, becoming part Demogorgon, part something else.

An unusual mutation formed in The Entity’s realm, causing rock-like chitin to grow from the creature’s flesh.

The metal collar is pressed tightly around the creature's neck, much to its irritation. Three men were lost in the process of fitting it.

A crustacean mouthpart with rows of razor-sharp teeth, dripping with foul saliva. Ideal to pierce, shred, and chew through thick layers of flesh.

A stony outcropping surrounding the terrifying split-mandible.

There were a number of security measures in place, the chains being one of many fail-safes that ultimately failed.

Its slick body was covered with a glistening, chitinous carapace. Its thorax swelled with gruesome, clutching appendages.

Rocky blemishes protrude from its body, covered in sticky strings of membrane.

The metal cuffs were, in hindsight, a bad idea, having done nothing but enrage the beast with even more fury than before.

As its claw dug into human flesh, warm blood curled under its sharp nails. Hawkins Police would never find this body.

Hardened chitin grows unnaturally from its murderous claws.
