Coming from someone who stayed in a rough neighborhood in Houston, Tomball is definitely nice! People are friendly here and a lot of places are close by. A lot of things are closed in the evening which makes for little nightlife. Police patrol often which makes crime uncommon and local neighborhoods safe. Children have decent schools and there are plenty of jobs around. Overall, I like living here!

We moved to Tomball from a very small town in Arizona, where we'd lived all our lives. To say we were nervous would be an understatement! We didn't know what to expect. What we found was a family friendly community with great schools, amazing neighbors, and ample job opportunities. I have grown to love our neighborhood, and the friends we've made here. There is a farmer's market every Saturday downtown, lots of family friendly events throughout the year, including an incredible German-fest, and fun parks and pools to explore with the kids. Being a tiny town, there is no nightlife to speak of, but the Woodlands is only minutes away and offers all the "big town" attractions you may need. For anyone considering taking the plunge-I say- Dive in!

I absolutely love Tomball! It gives you the small town feel while only being 30 minutes outside of downtown Houston, Spring, Cypress and Katy. Downtown Tomball has quite a few antique shops and boutiques on Main Street, which makes Saturday shopping so fun! There is also a local Farmer's market on Main Street that is open every Saturday, rain or shine. About 15 minutes from downtown Tomball is a nostalgic drive in movie theater called the Showboat, that allows you to see 2 features for the price of one (only $8 per person). Another huge plus, you are only a little over an hour from Galveston beach!
