Все сигареты этого бренда выпускаются на фабрике "Донской Табак", в сотрудничестве и под контролем британской компании Richmond Tobacco Co. Забавно, но в России они позиционируются как "супер премиальные", а в Британии занимают низший ценовой сегмент. Как бы то не было распробуем сегодня четыре основных сорта.
Richmond Klan. Этот сорт позиционируется производителем как не ароматизированный. Пакуются сигареты в эффектную, жёлтую пачку с металлизированным тиснением. По оформлению - твёрдая 5!
В пачке двадцать сигарет формата king size. Дизайн сигарет не менее эффектен упаковки. Бело-жемчужная бумага фильтра с именем бренда и широкой разделительной лентой "в серебре". Забегая вперёд скажу, что различия сортов бренда обозначены как раз внешним дизайном и сорта между собой перепутать сложно.
Фильтр у Клана двойной, ацетатно-угольный. Угольная половина средней насыщенности крошкой. Оба фильтра плотные.
Внутри сигареты довольно контрастная мешка с цветами от светло-жёлтого до тёмно-бурого. Аромат из пачки и от сигареты напомнил мне самокруточные табаки Halfzware, эдакий усреднённый. И не такой плотный.
Нарезка "дикая": в составе практически отсутствуют привычные ленты, основная масса - довольно большие хлопья и табачного листа и суррогата. При том суррогатного листа тут не мало. ТТХ: смола 6 мг., никотин 0,5 мг., СО 8 мг.
Вкус дыма такой же как и аромат и это вкус сигаретного табака, а не чернослива. Но Halfzware предполагает наличие в мешке кентукки (естественного носителя черносливого вкуса) и крепости чуть выше средней, а всего этого тут нет. Так что думается, что сигареты всё же ароматизированы, но ароматизатором не обычным - табачным и не свойственным для фабричных сигарет. В общем то плохими их не назову, может только цена в 160 рубликов завышена, с таким то качеством мешки. Среди сигаретных "однокласников" выглядят необычно, как по вкусу, так и по "понтам".
Richmond Gentleman. Эти сигареты производитель так позиционирует как не ароматизированные. Посмотрим далее. Пачка не менее эффектна, выполнена в бело-синих цветах с обилием объёмных деталей.
Сигарет по прежнему двадцать, в формате king size. Дизайн сигарет очень похож на предыдущий сорт, но уже в другом цветовом решении - доминирующий цвет сине-серый, а декоративные полоски "в золоте".
Мешка сигарет слабо контрастная, в основном тёмно-жёлтая. В этом сорте нарезка более привычная и сигаретная - присутствуют и узкие полоски, и кусочки табачного листа разной величины. Суррогатный лист присутствует и здесь, в умеренном количестве. ТТХ: смола 6 мг., никотин 0,7 мг., СО 8 мг.
Вкус дыма так же довольно не обычен для не ароматизированных сигарет. Табачный аромат выражен слабо, а вот ноты чернослива чувствуются, особенно с первых сигарет. Позже правда вкус замыливается и почти перестаёт ощущаться, но зато появляются слабые ноты вишни. Довольно двойственные впечатления остались после этого сорта. С одной стороны понимаю, что они точно ароматизированы, с другой - такое ощущение, что как-то не полноценно... В общем не понятно, надеюсь на Вашу помощь в комментах.
Richmond Black Edition. Вот и добрались до "классики" от Richmond - сигареты с вишнёвой ароматизацией, столь любимой брендом. Пачка эффектна, элегантна, хотя и местами через мерно. На пачке гордое заявление: "100% Натуральный табачный лист". Ну, что ж, сейчас проверим)
Количество сигарет в пачке и формат те же, что и у предшественников. Дизайн более "понтоватый" или детский)) Ну или дамский, если угодно)) "Жемчужный" фильтр с широкой "золотой" полосой и именем бренда в "золоте". Сигаретная бумага уже не белая, а "табачная". Но это только цвет)
Мешка в сигарете довольно контрастная - от светло-жёлтого до бурого. Нарезка "дикая", присутствуют и полоски листа, и большие куски листа скрученного, и срезы стебля, и совсем уж махонькие фракции. Кстати, светлые, полупрозрачные фракции суррогата то же имеются. Так, что не ясно, что производитель понимает под "100% табачным листом"?
Хотелось бы сказать, что из пачки и от сигареты пахнет вишней. Однако это не вишня - это "вишнёвый" ароматизатор, к которому так все привыкли. Вишню он напоминает, но не более того. ТТХ сигарет мне не известны, но дым довольно лёгкий.
Во вкусе дыма "вишня" присутствует, но довольно постная. Аромат этих сигарет гораздо плотнее вкуса. Табачные ноты за ароматизатором не воспринимаются совсем. Как сказал мой коллега, пробуя эти сигареты, - они не для курильщика, а для тех кто рядом! Действительно, стоять рядом с курящим этот сорт приятнее, чем его курить))
Richmond Collector`s Edition Limited. Коллекционное, лимитированное издание! Ни больше, ни меньше! Этот сорт упакован в пластиковый, полуавтоматический портсигар конструкция которого стоит подробного рассмотрения. Портсигар чёрный, с бархатным покрытием.
На крышке маленькая наклейка с инструкцией по открытию пачки) Только в инструкции не сказано, что пока Вы не оторвёте ещё и акциз, пачка не откроется) Механизм открытия выполнен на манер слайдера - нужно слегка нажать на лицевую сторону пачки и сдвинуть её вниз, тогда крышка пачки освободится от замков и откроется.
На обороте пачки "легенда" издания с медальками и цена сигарет.
Весь портсигар сделан из штампованного пластика, единственная металлическая деталь - пружина открывающая крышку. Неоспоримое качество портсигара - он почти на 100% блокирует аромат сигарет в пачке.
В пачке двадцать сигарет формата slims. Дизайн... ну вот тут то точно сигареты "супер-премиум" класса! =) Коричнево-красная бумага сигарет, чёрный с блёстками фильтр, широкая разделительная полоска и имя бренда прямо таки в "сияющем серебре"!
А вот "кишки" сигаретки на "супер-премиум" класс явно не тянут. Мешка очень светлая, светло-жёлтые фракции преобладают, бурых - менее трети. Нарезка "дикая", присутствуют очень крупные фракции листа для этого формата, полоски, срезы стебля и конечно же суррогатный лист. ТТХ: смола 5 мг., никотин 0,5 мг., СО 5 мг.
Во вкусе дыма табачная нота отсутствует совсем. За то ароматизатора выше крыши! Удалось идентифицировать вишню и ваниль на первом плане и корицу фоном. Курится сигарета легко, быстро и, если не брать во внимание посредственную табачную основу, вкусно. "Вкусно" - это с оглядкой и пониманием, что я курю исключительно ароматизатор. Сложно мне адекватно оценить эти сигареты, но курящим девушкам они понравятся=) Цена только явно завышена, всё таки 365 руб. за пачку - это перебор.
