Итак, почему сравниваем российские и кубинские сигареты? Ответ прост - это единственные сигареты с сигарным табаком оставшиеся на официальном российском рынке. Понятно, что они разные как по качеству, так и по цене, но отдельный пост делать об однотипных изделиях не хотелось.
Начнём с Cherokee. Изначально изготовителем (Погарская табачная фабрика) предлагалось четыре сорта этих сигарет: Dominikana Blend, Nikaragua Blend, Brazil Blend и Italy Blend. Все они отличались различной табачной мешкой и соответственно вкусом. Ещё одно различие - первые два сорта имели смолы 9 мг, никотина 0,8 мг, а СО 10 мг; а вторая пара - смолы 10 мг, никотина 1 мг, а СО 10 мг . То есть вторая пара была несколько крепче и хотя Italy Blend имели самый высокий рейтинг, их всё же сняли с продажи и в сегодняшней дегустации они не участвуют.
Оставшиеся Dominikana Blend и Nikaragua Blend имеют довольно устаревший дизайн пачек, визуально напоминающий дизайн более именитого собрата - сигареты Cohiba. На самих сигаретах отсутствуют какие либо знаки о принадлежности к сорту, т.е. они абсолютно одинаковы - стандартный king size, "пробковый" фильтр и его ацетатный наполнитель.
Начнём дегустацию с Cherokee Dominikana Blend.
От производителя: "В меру крепкие сигареты изготовленные из табаков Пикадура из Никарагуа, Криолло ла Вега из Доминиканской Республики, а так же Кеду из Индонезии. Облдают классическим сигарным ароматом с пряным и слегка сладковатым вкусом."
ТТХ сигареты: смола 9 мг, никотин 0,8 мг, а СО 10 мг.
Сигарета наполнена мешкой из тёмно-бурых, мелко нарезанных фракций табака с эпизодическими включениями более светлых частичек.
При курении, сигарета действительно передаёт сигарный дух. Дым плотный с заметной сигарной горчинки, но без гарности. При том, не смотря на крепость, сигарета курится довольно мягко, без никотинового удара по горлу. Сгорает не быстрее любых других современных сигарет. Хороший, качественный продукт с крепостью чуть выше средней. А если учесть довольно не высокую цену (120 руб.), может стать повседневной для любителей натуральности в сигаретах.
Следующий экземпляр - Cherokee Nikaragua Blend.
От производителя: " Великолепная, сбалансированная смесь сигарных табаков, составленная на основе никарагуанских сортов табака Corojo, Habana, выращенных в долине Jalapa Valley."
Внешне, ни пачка, ни сама сигарета ни чем не отличается от собрата. Параметры никотина и смолы полностью аналогичны. Разница проявляется во время курения и в составе мешки.
В составе этого сорта мешка из равномерно тёмно-бурых волокон. Нарезка тонкая, без "палок" и пыли.
Несмотря на одинаковые ТТХ - эта сигарета кажется крепче. Сигарная нота выражена ярче, дым более брутален - прихватывает горло при первых затяжках. На протяжении всей сигареты, во вкусе присутствуют естественные сладкие ноты. Сладость именно табачная, а не ароматизаторы. Довольно приятная сигарета, понравится любителям крепкого, натурального табака.
Ну, и в заключении, рассмотрим сигареты Cohiba Original. Выпускаются они на "Brascuba Cigarillos S.A.", собственно на Кубе. Имеется три сорта бренда: Original, Predilecto и White. Производится бренд с 1966 года.
От производителя: "Сигареты Cohiba Original производятся из настоящего кубинского табака – крепкого, терпкого и ароматного. Его выращивают на собственных плантациях компании, расположенных в провинции Пинар дель Рио. "
Упаковка сигарет такая же старомодная как и у Cherokee. Фирменные цвета пачки и лого в виде головы индейца соответствует оформлению прославленных сигар Cohiba. Сама сигарета чуть-чуть, буквально на миллиметр, короче стандарта king size. Отличительная особенность, сразу же бросающаяся в глаза - это короткий фильтр (тут он то же ацетатный). В Cohiba Original фильтр сделан скорее для блокирования частичек табака, чем для фильтрации вредных веществ. А при ТТХ сигареты (смола 10 мг, никотин 0,7 мг, СО 10 мг) такой фильтр несёт номинальный характер.
Мешка сигареты, по цвету, напоминает мешку Cherokee Nikaragua Blend. Такие же бурые, тонкой нарезки фракции. Аромат сигарета издаёт действительно похожий на покровник некоторых сигар - солоноватая кожа.
При прикуривании сигареты тут же получаем удар по горлу (привет от короткого фильтра)). Дым крепкий, острый, брутальный. И так от начала и до конца сигареты. Вкус сигарный, без сладости, действительно напоминает кубинские сигары. Но лишь напоминает. Сигарета здорово сушит горло, а в финале начинает прихватывать язык.
Без сомнений - отличная сигарета, однако в силу цены (250 руб.) и черезмерной брутальности я бы не стал рассматривать её в качестве повседневника. Но к пробе всё же порекомендую, особенно любителям крепких сигарет. Благо таких на современном рынке практически не осталось.
