Backend Software Engineer

Item Description:

• Web application development using Go; API development
• I / F design between micro services using protocol buffers + gRPC
• Evaluation of service quality and performance assessment based on qualitative / quantitative analysis performed using user activity logs
• Architecture based on the needs of specific applications and middleware selection
• Identification of problems that users encounter through surveys / analysis and taking concrete measures to solve them.
• Performance tuning, monitoring, microservice correspondence alert

Requirements:

• English - Business level, Japanese NOT REQUIRED
• Knowledge and experience in developing web applications (development experience on Go is optional);
• Experience in designing circuits and creating effective queries for databases;
• Experience with web applications and performance tuning; knowledge of security;
• Experience in middleware selection and software architecture design;
• The ability to take responsibility and lead the software development process.

Technical Environment:

• Programming Language: Go;
• Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Spanner, Cloud SQL, Datastore, Storage, Stackdriver Logging, Dataflow, Pub / Sub, etc.);
• Analysis: BigQuery / Looker / Data Studio;
• Monitoring: Stackdriver Monitoring / Datadog / PagerDuty / Sentry;
• CI / CD: Circle CI / Spinnaker;
• Development Method: Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Good to have skills: 

• Development and operational experience using Go and GCP;
• Experience in the development and operation of a large-scale system with high traffic;
• Experience in creating new services and solving problems at the stage of service growth;
• Management experience and leading developers;
• Experience in improving the development process;
• Experience in statistical data analysis.
