The Role

- Rapid API development with seamless integration into other systems

- Wrap developed GenAI algorithms into productized backend solutions

- Work in cross-functional team with Data Scientist and Frontend Engineer

- Work directly with clients to understand and meet their needs

- Partner with experts in AI, venture, and business consulting.

Who we seek

- Proficiency in Python across the below domains:

- High-Performance API Development: advanced skills with FastAPI and Django(or other high-performance web frameworks), including implementing asynchronous processing for high-performance APIs, detailed error handling, input and output schemas validation, securing APIs using OAuth2, JWT, or API keys, and integrating with other services

- Database Management: Proficiency in using Alembic + SQLAlchemy (or other database migration management tool), along with solid knowledge of database servers like PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Skills in optimizing schema design, indexing, and query performance for large datasets

- Automation Tools: Experience with tools like Dagster, Celery for building, scheduling, and monitoring complex data pipelines. Ability to automate workflows for data preprocessing, model training, and deployment.

- Vector databases

- Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus and will help to better interact with cross-functional team members (e.g. DS)

- 3-5 years of hands-on backend engineering, preferably with experience in building GenAI solutions
