ABBA (Antioch Band Backers Assoc) is hosting a silent auction. All proceeds go to future competitions, uniforms, equipment, etc. These were raffle prizes for a …fundraiser that never got to happen due to covid. I will post a starting price with each picture and if you’d like to bid on it, comment under that pic with the starting price. The next bidder will comment with a price increase of $5. The auction will end Sunday night at 6:00 pm. Items will be payable upon pickup in cash or check payable to ABBA.
Due to school closing in the spring, choir was unable to hold the majority of their auditions and sign ups. Now is the chance to sign up for choir! If you are… interested in Concert or Show Choir, please sign up with your counselor when you register for school. Despite its senior year imploding, Antioch High's Class of 2020 ended on a happy note Friday afternoon. The winds were fierce, but so were the seniors and their… families as they took part in the first graduation drive-thru event. Nearly all 417 grads arrived in vehicles decorated to the hilt with signs, balloons, streamers and more. One by one, seniors were announced with each receiving his/her diploma and a 2020 sash, and were photographed for a commerative keepsake. Staff were thrilled to cheer them on and see first hand the emotions of the joyful familes. Said parent Cindy Chatham: "All of my friends agreed this was so much fun and we feel fulfilled. Thank you AHS for creating an amazing experience for our seniors!" #WeAreAUSD

UPDATE FROM SUPERINTENDENT ANELLO RELATED TO COVID-19 (3/12 @ 5:40 pm)
As the information surrounding COVID-19 is constantly evolving, we continue… to monitor the spread and impact on our students and staff. Senior staff will be meeting tomorrow to consider whether it is prudent to begin closing all schools in the District beginning Monday, March 16th. While no decision has been made at this time, I am asking AUSD parents/guardians to begin making contingency plans for child care should the District close. I will update all schools and employees tomorrow. Please contact your school administrator should you have any questions. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
