Article The “X Rated” Birth Photo’s They Never Wanted You to See
WARNING some of these images you really can’t un-see…
Birthing images have long been censored on social media—until a group of activists decided that women should be able to
actually see a baby emerging from its mother’s vagina.
In early January 2018, a month after a Change.org petition was first published, it was agreed that Facebook and
Instagram policicies would be changed to allow birth content.
Facebook’s and Instagram’s decision to change their policy is the result of years of conversations with women’s health
advocates and the birthing community, Instagram’s Karina Newton told HarpersBazaar.com exclusively.
It’s also personally important to her as a mother of two, she says: “We’re really proud that Instagram’s nudity policy
is evolving to allow for that community, and for moms and families to share photos and videos of childbirth.”
Some mum’s might find these images a bit confronting and even distressing after their own birth experience. But we
believe they are simply too stunning not to share. Just be warned!

I think that new mums to be need to see what happens to your body as then it might help them see what is going to happen during birthing process. This a natural birthing and good to see not disgusting.
I fail to see how this is disgusting to some people. There is a huge difference in being offended by a horrifically mutilated body that has wounds inflicted maliciously, in comparison to a NATURAL human body birthing another human. I for one have always loved birth photography. My first was quite traumatic but my 2nd was natural, proceeded in its own time and pace and absolutely amazing. I just wish I had photographs and videos to remember it more vividly!
Utterly disgusting and I will continue to report this sh*t when I see it on Facebook and Instagram. Keep your reamed out snatches off Facebook and Instagram. Nobody should be posting anything this disgusting in a public forum. If this is okay, then I want homicide photos to be able to be posted publicly. Best Gore gets shut down and Instagram let’s this vomit inducing display. Death is just as natural if you want to be all hippy dippy about it.
I sooo wish I had photo just wasn’t anything we thought about. I do remember looking at these when I was pregnant and it did help knowing what was actually coming. So glad they let these photos be posted!
I never wanted photos of my daughters birth but my second was born at home and the whole experience still seems so surreal I kinda wish there were some photos
Absolutely amazing photos that shows how incredible our bodies are! I wouldn’t want photographs myself but think they are breatakingly stunning how they show each stage

So glad my children are all born, that looks so painful. Yet I do not think of it as so, just remember getting to hold that darling child in my arms.
I have photos of both my kids being born via c section. Not sure I would share them though
These are absolutely beautiful!! I really appreciate seeing photos of other people’s birthing experiences, I do not have any of my pwn so it is amazing to see what the body goes through and how glorious the occasion is!
Wow, just wow.
But where are the C section pics. Yes I’m that person. With my first we never got pictures but with my second we got pictures just seconds from him being born via C section. It’s incredible seeing life being born. These pictures are truly amazing and show birth in a raw and beautiful way just as it is. But not everyone can birth vaginally I wish I could have for my second. But C section photos would be great and that is giving birth as well
My husband took a few pics and 8 years later I have never been able to bring myself to look at them, I felt like it would be traumatic to see, and I hated my body during the process. These pics are amazing although did make me twitch a little, remembering the feelings ????
These are pretty amazing photos but I’m glad I don’t have any of mine. I remember most the feeling of having baby just born and against my chest and that’s what I want to remember
Every photograph celebrates life. Amazing!

Article Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review From Member Debbie
We worry about how much screen time is too much, which devices are right for our children and what programmes to install to make the devices safe for them to use. It’s a minefield of choices, comparisons and decisions!
Thankfully Samsung gets what we’re dealing with and have developed one nifty little device that ticks all the boxes … for parents and their children.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 comes with a Samsung Kids application that lets you shape a safe environment for your child to happily explore and connect with the world.
With Samsung Kids, parents can set limits on playtime as well as give access to specific contacts and apps, restricting what you don’t want your child to see. Samsung Kids even offers a usage report so you can see what your child’s doing, or make sure they’re only seeing what’s appropriate. Providing the ultimate peace of mind, that your child is playing and learning in a safe environment.
With family-friendly activities, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 will entertain and encourage your child to learn, develop and flourish.
We sent MoM Member Debbie and her daughters the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 and asked them all to give the device as well as Samsung Kids a full review. They’ve tried, tested and now they are ready to share their review.
We asked Debbie a bunch of questions to see whether the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 passed the “Yes I’d Recommend” review test.
“I loved the size of the tablet. It’s easier for the kids to use the tablet and press the buttons, and I loved that the screen was big and clear for when we made video calls.” Debbie shared.
What we love is that while the the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is a great size, it is LIGHTWEIGHT. It offers a sophisticated, slimline design with a durable metal body and a total weight of under 500g, but still manages to include a 10.4″ display and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound. You really can have the best of both worlds!
When we first spoke to Debbie about participating in the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review, she told us that she’d always wanted the girls to have their own tablet. She wanted them to have some independence but always worried about them accessing inappropriate content.
“I loved that the Samsung had the Samsung kids app so I can leave the Tab A7 with the girls and feel comfortable that they can only access what I’ve allowed them to access via the parental controls”.
We were all with Debbie agreeing that giving your child their own device can be a daunting prospect, especially when we are constantly hearing about the dangers of the internet. This is where the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is ahead of the rest thanks to its Samsung Knox multi-layered security system which protects your child’s tablet at every level.
In addition to the inbuilt security features, switching the tablet into Samsung Kids mode can help get your children started on their digital journey in a safe way, with the ability to set restrictions on playtimes, apps, and contacts. It even offers usage reports so you see exactly their activity – no lying about homework here!
Debbie’s response was exactly what every parent wants to hear!
“It was super easy to set up … nice and quick.” she responded.
“The fact that we can leave the girls alone with the Tab A7 and know that they can only access what we allow them to access is amazing! My 5 year old especially loves all the games on the Samsung Kids App.” Debbie told us.
We were intrigued so we dug a little deeper and discovered two education related benefits: It Can Help Improve Problem Solving Skills The Samsung Kids feature in particular makes finding suitable activities so easy. Games like Crocro’s Adventures is super fun, easy to use, and teaches problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will help be the building blocks for your toddler’s learning in the future. If you notice your child is a ‘hands-on’ learner the Galaxy Tab A7 is great as your kid can press buttons, move images, and create sounds to suit their unique learning style perfectly and encourage them to persevere when faced with a new challenge. It Can Help To Develop Focus And Concentration The Galaxy Tab A7 has an amazing screen and beautifully rich audio which bring learning to life. Your child will be totally immersed in the videos, apps, and games thanks to the wide and dynamic 10.4″ display and Dolby Atmos surround sound which will definitely help to maintain attention and focus. The Galaxy Tab A7 can help with toddlers’ memory, motor control, and problem-solving skills and you may notice the benefits for your child’s focus and attention will continue long after the tablet has been put away!
Yes great question! Most of us are always wondering exactly what the kids are looking at and doing when we’re not nearby! Debbie said during their Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review she found it really useful to see what the girls engaged with the most, what games they enjoyed and especially how long they were on the tablet.
“The whole family used the device over and over! We all used it to make video calls to our family overseas, my kids were able to stay in contact with their friends during lockdown and also play learning games which was amazing!”
We love that when the kids aren’t on Samsung Kids, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 offers so much more. The 8MP main camera can be used for photographing projects and performances but can also double as a portable companion on nature walks and family holidays for high-quality pics in just seconds.
It’s also the perfect choice for a totally immersive cinema experience on the go keeping kids entertained on even the longest of car journeys.
Debbie’s response to this was instant and resounding!
“Absolutely! I’ve already recommended it to friends and family.”
So there you have it. A Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review direct from another Mum just like you. It’s ticked all the boxes and offers the whole family from the youngest member a device that delivers at home, in the classroom and even in the office (if you can wrestle it from the kids).
So now that you’ve read through Debbie’s Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review, could it be the perfect partner for you and your children? Tell us in the comments below …
A note from the MoM Team | We created the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review in partnership with Samsung. Debbie had a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 on loan for a few weeks to enable her and her family to test it out fully. After this period we interviewed Debbie for this article.
It sounds pretty good, though it is possible to lock down most devices to various degrees.
Sound like lovely device. Most devices you can put on guided access and view the history though
I find $379 quite dear when you have 4 kids. Our kids have devices between the $100 and $200
Such a handy tool that kids love to use. I just don’t like when I have to take the advice away. Makes me feel like it’s easier not to give it at all.
My daughter has her own iPad now.with the right apps, it’s a fantastic learning tool

Maybe when my toddler is a bit older. She’s only 2 now so I don’t want anymore screen time as I know if she has it she’ll only ask to watch her kids shows on it rather than learn.
The usage reports sound like a great idea for younger kids. Price point is great too!
Great info. My son isn’t old enough for an inadequate just yet but he definitely knows what our phones are.
Great article full off information. Lucky we don’t need ipad now but I will keep it in my mind.
