Drake was accused of keeping his son secret because he felt ashamed to have welcomed a baby with a former porn star he'd only met twice before the birth.
The Canadian music star had a baby boy named Adonis with ex-adult movie star Sophie Brussaux in 2017.
However, he didn't acknowledge Adonis until the following year.
Before going public with news that he'd become a dad, Drake was called out by fellow rapper Pusha T - who accused the star of hiding his secret son because of Sophie's previous job.
In 2018 track The Story of Adidon, Pusha T told drake to "forget she's a porn star" and embrace his little boy.
He rapped: "You are hiding a child, let that boy come home. Deadbeat mothaf***a, playin' border patrol, ooh.
"Adonis is your son. And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that's real.
"Love that baby, respect that girl. Forget she's a porn star, let her be your world, yuugh!
"Love that baby, respect that girl. Forget she's a porn star, let her be your world, yuugh!"

When rumours of his secret son first came to light, Drake reps denied the claims and branded Sophie a liar because of her porn background.
A spokesperson for Drake told TMZ.com: "This woman has a very questionable background.
"She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States.
"She's one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child."
Drake later opened up about his son in his own track Emotionless later that year.
In the song, he insisted he wasn't hiding his son and admitted he'd only met Sophie twice before she gave birth to his little boy.
He rapped: "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid.
"Breakin' news in my life I don't run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call.
"I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe. That s**t is in stone, sealed and signed. She's not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine.
In the song, he also admits feeling "embarrassed" to tell his parents about his son.
he rapped: "I used to challenge my parents on every album. Now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent.
"Always promised the family unit. I wanted it to be different because I've been through it."
Speaking to Rap Radar last year, Drake said he hesitated to go public with the news of his son's birth because he was waiting on the results of a DNA test .
He explained: "To be honest with you, I did a DNA test for my son and it came back to us and it said the DNA test got ruined in transit and they couldn’t be 100 percent sure that that was my son or not.
"So, I was in a really weird pending situation where I didn’t want to go tell the world that that was my son and it wasn’t."
Drake shared the first snaps of his little boy , two, this week, with Sophie adding more family pictures on her own Instagam page.

A 10-month-old baby girl has died after allegedly being raped by her father.
Investigators claim the dad Googled "how do I know if a baby is dead", before calling emergency services.
Authorities in Philadelphia, in the US, allege Austin Stevens, 29, waited for an hour to call 911 at his Montgomery county home after baby Zara Lynn Scruggs died.
Prosecutors claim he also contacted women over text messages and social media as his daughter was dying, according to NBC Philadelphia.
An autopsy determined the baby girl was the victim of sexual assault and suffered blunt force trauma to the head, reports said.
Her cause and manner of death has yet to be determined.
Stevens was arrested and charged with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, rape of a child, aggravated assault, aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child and other related offences, according to reports.
A statement from the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said police responded to a report of an unresponsive infant at a house in Providence Township at around 10.40pm on Saturday.
Officers immediately began CPR on baby Zara, but she was pronounced dead in hospital two hours later.
According to prosecutors, a scene examination of the apartment allegedly uncovered a nappy "saturated with blood", the prosecutor's statement said.
Police obtained a search warrant to download the contents of Stevens' phone, which revealed multiple Google searches for nearly an hour, prosecutors claim.
His online searches allegedly included: "If baby stop breathing", "What if you don’t hear baby heart or beat", "My baby isn’t breathing", and "How do you know if a bsby [sic] is dead", the ABC reports.
Prosecutors also allege Stevens exchanged social media messages and texts with two women during that period without mentioning his daughter's condition.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele called the crime "heinous".
He said in a statement: "This case is deeply disturbing. It is hard to imagine this child’s death being any more traumatic: sexual assault on an infant, followed by inaction by the father to save her life, led to her death."
Stevens was separated from Zara's mother, and the pair had a joint custody agreement, according to authorities.
Mum Erica Scruggs has been posting heartbroken messages on Facebook since her little girl's death, writing: "I'm speechless."
She added in a post: "I'm not okay. I really have no words" and "he will pay."
She posted pictures of her little girl, captioned "My moo" and "angel".
The mum told thousands of well-wishers: "Just pray for me and my baby y'all. She didn't deserve this."
A GoFundMe page for the family launched by a relative described the family's hurt at the loss of "beautiful" Zara Lynn Scruggs.
It says: "She deserved to grow up. She deserved to be with her family. She deserved all the amazing things in this world.
"She didn’t deserve to die at the young age of 10 months.
"Instead of speaking on her death, we would rather talk about how much she touched us. In 10 short months, she sparked so much joy.
"She was smart. She was silly. She was sassy. She was perfect. She was a beautiful baby and brought so much beauty into hundreds of lives.
"She brought us together, and we will fight for her forever. This page is to showcase the light that Zara sparked within all of us."
Stevens is being held at the county jail on $1million (£770,000) bail with a preliminary hearing set for next week.
