BREAKING - RFK Jr. Launches $144M National Program to Remove Microplastics From the Human Body

Health Secretary RFK Jr. announced the launch of STOMP — Systematic Targeting of MicroPlastics — a $144 million nationwide initiative led by HHS in coordination with the EPA to measure, understand, and remove microplastics from the human body. RFK Jr. said regulators cannot treat or control what they cannot measure, and the program will focus on identifying what is in the body, determining what harm it causes, and proving the scientific link, marking a major step toward confronting microplastic exposure at a national level.
