BIATHLON
BIATHLON
Biathlon combines the strength and aggression of cross-country skiing with the accuracy and calmness of shooting.
History
The word "biathlon" comes from the Greek word for two races, and is today considered a combination of two sports: skiing and shooting. Biathlon is rooted in survival skills practiced in snow-covered forests in Scandinavia, where people used to ski and hunt with guns on their shoulders.
In 1948, the International Federation of pentathlon (UIPMB) was established to standardize the rules of biathlon and pentathlon. In 1993, the biathlon branch of UIPMB created the international biathlon union (IBU), which was officially separated from UIPMB in 1998. 먹튀검증
A basic concept
Biathlon competitions are divided into two or four shooting rounds in which the participants have a total distance of two or four shooting rounds, half in a prone position and the other half in a standing skiing position. Additional distance or time is added to the total ski distance/time of the participant, depending on the shooting performance. The contestant with the shortest total time wins
Ski Details
At the Olympics, all cross-country skiing techniques are allowed in biathlon, and skate skiing , which is overwhelmingly chosen by athletes, is available. The minimum ski length is 4 cm less than the height of the skier. Rifles should always be carried by skiers during competitions.
Filming details
Biathlon athletes must weigh at least 3.5 kg (7.7 lb), excluding ammunition and ammunition. The rifle uses .22 LR ammunition and is either a bolt action or a Fortner (straight pull bolt) action. Each rifle has four muzzles, five each. Additional rounds can be kept in the stock of the rifle for relay races.
Competition format
The 20 km (12.43 mi) individual race [15 km (9.32 mi)] is the oldest biathlon event. We ski for five laps in distance. Biathlon players shoot 4 times at any shooting range (1-15 lanes are prone, 16-30 lanes are standing)
The sprint is 10 km (6.21 mi) for men and 7.5 km (4.66 mi) for women, and the distance is three laps. Biathlon fires a total of 10 shots, one in prone lanes (typically lanes 1 to 15) and one in standing lanes (16 to 30). For each miss, you must ski through the 150 m penalty loop before continuing.
The Super Sprint is a shorter version of the sprint. Unlike traditional sprint races, super sprints are divided into two parts: preliminary and final. The qualifying rounds take place like traditional sprints, but in a 1.5 km lap with a total length of 4.5 km.
In the chase, biathletes' starts are separated by their time difference from previous races, most commonly sprints. The first contestant to cross the finish line is the winner.
In a mass start, all biathlon competitors start at the same time and the competitor who crosses the finish line wins.
Mass start 60 has become part of the International Biathlon Federation (IBU) competition format. A mass start with 60 starters does not replace the current mass start with 30 starters.
The relay team consists of four biathletes, each skied 7.5 km (male) or 6 km (female), each leg skied over three laps, and there are two shooting rounds: prone and one standing. You can use 8 bullets every round of 5 targets.
The mixed relay is similar to the regular relay, but it consists of two women and two men. From the first instance of the 2005 World Championships until the end of the 2017 season, the first two legs were always run by women, followed by men with legs 3 and 4. But from the 2018 season, the race can start for both men and women.
In 2015, the IBU introduced a single mixed relay to the biathlon world cup.
A team consists of four biathletes, but unlike relay competitions, all team members start at the same time.
