BHEL Q4 Results: The company's board has approved a dividend of 25 paise on each share.
BHEL Q4 Results: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) released the results for the March quarter of FY24 on Tuesday, May 21.
The company said that its net profit declined by 25 percent to Rs 484 crore in the March quarter, which was Rs 645 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The company's revenue increased marginally to Rs 8,260 crore during this period, which was Rs 8,227 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
However, revenue has increased by 50 percent on a quarterly basis, as this figure was Rs 5,503.81 crore in the December quarter.
Total expenses of the government-owned company increased by 5 per cent to Rs 7,794.11 crore in the March quarter, compared to Rs 7,411.64 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The company's expenses in the December quarter were Rs 5,537.47 crore and compared to that, there has been an increase of 40.75 percent.
BHEL announced dividend
BHEL also announced dividend along with the results. The company said that its board has approved paying a dividend of 25 paise on each share with a face value of Rs 2. The company said that this decision is yet to be approved by the shareholders.
BHEL shares increased by 60% this year
Meanwhile, BHEL shares closed at Rs 318.80 with a rise of 2.72 per cent on NSE on Tuesday.
Since the beginning of this year, the company's shares have increased by about 60 percent. In the last one year, this stock has given bumper multibagger returns of more than 300 percent.
