I have swag that I would like to give away for the benefit of the victims in Beirut. Is that ok?

Yes, that is very welcome. Use the usual swag channels if you have something to sell, and the local charities are happy to receive your donation.

If you would like to donate Swag as a prize for the event, please contact DugongHugger on Telegram

You are also welcome to announce your Swag donation in the chat, but please do not spam.

How can I support the people in Beirut?

The easiest and fastest way is to donate money to local aid organizations. The Lebanese Red Cross (@SDKAAA is a volunteer there) is working very hard to provide the people with the most basic needs. Feel free to donate to any organization involved in relief efforts in Lebanon. The ones we recommend are:

Lebanese Red Cross

International Committee of the Red Cross (PayPal accepted)

My name is not displayed in the scoresheet table on the event page, what should I do?

Just wait and see! The uploaded stats have to be verified manually by the POCs, which can take a while with such a large number of participants. When this happens you will see your name in the table.

What do I have to consider when submitting a selfie for the group photo?

You can upload your photo to the Google Photos album. But your selfie has to meet some criteria that Fevgames has set:

- a person must be recognizable

- masking is allowed

- the picture has to be up-to-date. No reusing photos used for previous IFS events.

- there must be a visible object that refers to Ingress or to the topic Stay at Home or health prevention, this can be anything, e.g. swag, clothes or something self-made.

What else can I do to support the initiative?

Make noise! You can tell other agents about this event or make them aware of the situation in Beirut. You can also make noise on social media platforms with the hashtags #IngressIsMoreThanAGame #BeirutExplosion #HelpBeirut We also think that a few beacons, field-arts etc. are a good way to draw attention and show support to this tragedy. If you have an artwork that you would like to share, you are welcome to upload it to the Google Photos album along with screenshots and pictures of operations such as field-arts for the event.

Is there a limit to the number of participants in the IFS?

No, neither Fevgames nor Niantic have a limit on the number of players at an IFS event. FevGames only recommends that organizers not have an event with more people than they can handle.

Is there a limit to the number of passcode redeems?

Yes, that is correct. If you want to redeem a passcode, you could participate in a local event nearby to save the redeems available for this event. If you are the organizer of a smaller FS Event, you are welcome to share your City Passcode with one of the organizers after everyone at your event has redeemed it.
