We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design enterprise data architectures that power GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications. The primary focus of this role is to build a scalable, reliable, and production-ready data platform that enables the ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery of enterprise data to AI-powered applications. Responsibilities Design enterprise data architectures based on Microsoft Azure. Architect production-grade data solutions for GenAI, RAG, and/or Agentic AI applications. Design data models, storage solutions, and integration processes for structured and unstructured data. Define data ingestion architectures and prepare enterprise data for AI-powered search and retrieval. Design Azure Cosmos DB solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and availability. Architect data platforms using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure services. Design scalable, metadata-driven and configuration-based data ingestion frameworks. Develop architecture documentation, data models, and technical specifications. Contribute to the modernization of existing data platforms and make key architectural decisions. Collaborate closely with Development, Data Engineering, and AI Engineering teams. Requirements Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Cloud Data Architect. Deep expertise in Azure Cosmos DB. Hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Azure. Proven production experience architecting data solutions for RAG, GenAI, and/or Agentic AI applications. Experience designing AI-ready data platforms. Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data architectures. Knowledge of data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and data integration patterns. Ability to independently design architectures and make key technical decisions. Understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements for production systems. English proficiency at C1 level is required. Nice to Have Azure Synapse Analytics. Azure Databricks. Azure Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures. Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
