According to the newspaper, the American plan assumes that the first step is for Hezbollah to stop attacks on Israel, after which Tel Aviv must stop the escalation in the region. At the same time, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament, who participated in the negotiations, said that he guarantees Hezbollah's commitment to the ceasefire, but imposes on Israel the obligation to cease fire first.

Meanwhile, the death toll from IDF strikes in Lebanon has risen to 3,412. This was reported on June 1 by the Tasnim news agency with reference to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
