Here's a thing every woman knows: you find the perfect dress, you try it on, you reach for a pocket - and there's nothing there. Just a cruel, decorative seam.
At Pocket Clothing, we've set out to change that. One place, one website, curated women's fashion, and every single piece has real pockets. We're 18 months in, the momentum is building, and it's becoming too much for two people to manage on the side.
Right now it's just two of us - Georgia handles the product, curation, and creative direction; Ryan handles the tech and strategy. What we're missing is someone to own the audience side:
* Social media and content
* The newsletter and email marketing
* Brand partnerships and affiliate relationships
* The marketing thinking behind all of it
Titles are flexible - Audience & Marketing Lead is what we've come up with, but that could become Head of Growth, CMO, or something we invent together. What matters is the vertical you own and the value you bring. This role is completely remote and you can work from anywhere, anytime.
A few important things to be upfront about:
* This is an equity role - there is no financial payment initially
* We're not asking for full-time hours; even 3-5 hours a week makes a real difference right now
* We're looking for someone who wants to be in this for the long haul, not simply completing a short-term project
* You don't need years of marketing experience or a fashion background - good instincts and genuine interest in the problem matter more
This is for people who:
* Want to help shape a brand from the ground up
* Are excited by testing, iteration and momentum
* Like the idea of building something useful, not just decorative
* Can afford to invest time and energy before the pay cheque comes
