It is disappointing and odd the crit rate boosts doesn't apply to herself as well. I don't think her constellations are worth whaling for. Her C6 is cool though but thats C6... I still love her design and theme so I'm definitely pulling for her and lvling her up.

C1 and c2 might be quite good if her charged attack has a good animation
The passive reinforces the fact that in the 5 second downtime for her E, you should be switching to other party members to apply elements and such before going back to her when her E comes off CD. Because of that I'm not too bummed out about it, it's a nice bonus
As I was typing this I realized that it's for 8 seconds so there's actually a bit of it that carries over into her next use of E. Yeah that's a bit disappointing for sure
EDIT: It seems downtime went from 5 seconds to 7 seconds in exchange for a slight damage buff
Actually I think this makes going hu Tao+childe super viable and strong

Let just hope her charge attack suck so we don't have to get her C1. Spear users charge attack usually just a dash with long animation so its not worth spamming for dps.

Assuming her current kit stays the same, what do you think its her best artifact set currently?
If you aren't constantly taking advantage of Vaporize and Melt, then you won't use Crimson Witch, as you can only activate it once, due to E's cooldown. You would use Lavawalker for these instances because Hu Tao always will be dealing pyro damage when her E is up, which is pretty much all of your dps moments.
Other than that, 2 crimson witch + 2 noblesse might be good too, but it looks like her burst multipliers aren't high enough and aren't frequent enough. This is without any calculations though, it might be good enough with proper calculations.
An alternate build would be with shielding and using Retracing Bolide, but I doubt this can compare because it won't buff damage from her blood plume and burst.
Overall, Lavawalker looks like the easiest set to use on her, while you might still want 4 piece Crimson Witch if you are constantly taking advantage of melt/vaporize/other effects.
All of this is without any calculations, so it's nowhere near factual, and simply eyeballing.
I would say either 4 piece crimson witch or 2 piece crimson witch/2 piece noblesse. You can even do 4 piece lavawalker since she applies pyro pretty consistently.
Retracing Bollide might be good since she synergizes well with shield characters due to her needing to constantly be at low health
