AstroHop Privacy Policy

AstroHop Privacy Policy

Amberforge Labs

AstroHop (package: io.amberforge.astrohop) is a constellation-finding and stargazing education app designed for curious beginners and families. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information. For any questions, contact daniel@creativepartnershiplimited.online.

What We Collect

AstroHop does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter or generate in the app — including your nickname, home region setting, spotting log, quiz streaks, earned badges, and appearance preferences — is stored only on your device. None of this information is ever sent to a server or shared with any third party.

How We Use Your Information

Because no data leaves your device, there is no off-device use to describe. Your progress, preferences, and log entries exist solely to make the app work for you on your own device. The app reads your device's compass and motion sensors in real time to draw constellation overlays; those sensor readings are processed momentarily in memory and are never written to a network destination or an external service.

Sharing Your Information

We do not share any information with third parties. AstroHop does not include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, attribution, or push-notification services. No data about you or your activity is transmitted to Google, any ad network, or any other outside party.

Children's Privacy

AstroHop is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including young children. Because the app collects no personal data and operates entirely on your device, it does not create privacy risks for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted to the policy URL on this app's Google Play listing.
