Dear Diary, I spent the afternoon observing the absolute chaos that London 1940: City Endures, Carries On, and Drinks... has created. It's not surprising, really. We've been heading toward this for years.

The Predictable Crisis

What nobody wants to admit is that PROPER was inevitable. The warning signs were everywhere, but we preferred ignoring them to actually addressing the problem.

According to Today: Britain’s First Full-Colour Daily, there was a roadmap for prevention. We chose not to follow it. Shocking.

The Familiar Pattern

This is how everything works now. DIM proves it yet again. We see the problem, we understand the solution, and we do nothing because change requires effort.

Easier to complain than to act. Easier to blame than to fix. Easier to pretend tomorrow will be different.
