Assumptions and rectifications

Assumptions and rectifications

Universal_Intel

Before going to build a building you need to have certain assumptions.

You have to assume that the building will be strong enough in concrete.

You have to assume that aeroplanes won't smash your building.

You have to assume that your business contractor have sold you the right type of steel rods.

And several more assumptions like that.......

These assumptions happen, when you are about to do something.

Ie UNDERTAKE A PROJECT.

You need to have the least set of assumptions, but also the most relevant one.

You cannot afford not to make assumptions.

Now the problem boils down to :

Make the most effective, but least number of assumptions.

For this, you need to strip down things into as simple as possible, right down to its nothing.

Highest level of abstraction as possible.

Once the assumption is set, you can start your process.

I will explain some makeable assumptions regarding some aspects of success in the coming days.

Be very clear about your assumptions.

Atleast, when you fuck up, you clearly know why.

It's because of the wrong foundational setup.

And changing assumptions mid way is hard and exhausting.

Better do things right way, right from the beginning.

Being right is an underrated trait.

Once you have made your assumptions, you want to TEST if they are capable of delivering results.

Look at yourself.

Have you failed?

Then your assumptions were wrong.

You missed to understand some crucial aspect of reality.

I have a better way.

Here it is...

##############

1. Listen to your inside.

Listen to the sensations inside your body. Listen to all the weird feeling inside your head.

Just take 5 min off to listen inside the head. Just observe the weird feeling that happen there.

Now listen to your heart. I mean that Physical position where your heart is....

Understand that there is loads of mysterious almost ghost like feelings that constantly come from your heart.

Now do it for all parts of your body all the way upto your ass and toes.

Practice introspection.

2. Once you have had sufficient practice that you can do it effortlessly, now look for suffering.

If any unpleasant feelings arise, it's mostly because you are holding a faulty assumption of reality.

This assumption will make you miserable.

But it won't be so blatantly obvious. It will be so fucking subtle.

And you need a motherfuckingly high amount of practice to listen to it.

So it's just a simple two step process for correcting faulty assumptions, that I gave you.

Bonus tip: Notice the "mechanical-ness" at which you are working.

If you are working like a robot without completely involved in the task at hand, most probably you have some hidden assumptions regarding what you are doing.

Don't be robotic. If you are (you will inevitably behave this way, sometimes,)then catch yourself doing it.

Then remove the unnecessary assumptions. Get back to work again.

You can practice it literally any fucking time.

So get to it.
