Associate Frontend Engineer

We are looking for an Associate Frontend Engineer to support our technical development team as we support a significant advisory engagement for a Berlin-based entity. This role is focused on building and maintaining the digital interfaces that allow our clients to review complex investment data and scenario models. You will be working in a fully remote environment, collaborating with a distributed team of engineers and commercial advisors to turn complex logic into clear, functional web applications that help senior leaders make decisions.
What you will do
* Build and refine responsive web components using React and modern CSS to support client reports.
* Translate draft commercial models into interactive dashboards for client review and scenario planning.
* Work closely with senior partners to understand how investment data needs to be visualized for maximum clarity.
* Maintain the integrity of our codebase through consistent testing, debugging, and thorough documentation.
* Optimize interface performance to ensure smooth data manipulation even with complex data sets.
* Support the technical side of preparing client positions for high stakes negotiations and board level updates.
* Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of data sources and commercial logic.
* Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain high standards of technical output.
What you bring
* A fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript gained through studies or personal projects.
* Introductory experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React, and an interest in component-based architecture.
* A strong logical mindset and an interest in how businesses make decisions and deploy capital.
* An eye for clean design and the ability to follow technical specifications with high attention to detail.
* The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical partners and commercial consultants.
