Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk has a safety rail for extra peace of mind. Some models come with an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used for sleepovers, or to add additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or have doors (please look at the product's details for full information).

A lot of midi cabins have the option of a desk that can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store all their belongings, meaning there's no need to use precious floor space with large wardrobes or shelving units.

A few of the models have taken it one step further by adding cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
