The word ladyboy is usually associated with the shallow porn industry and this movie wants to break that mold. Its trying to give you a keyhole into a human being and whats under the labels of identity. We get to follow a dragshow queen trough her form of everyday adventure. The storyline is not very complex but its not supposed to be. So i cant really go into the plot without taking away your enjoyment. Its very warm and rewarding and easy to relate to kind of movie. Something i find more and more rare to be honest in the movie industry. I truly recommend it.

We first saw Poyd Treechada when she was crowned Miss Tiffany 2004, and her beauty captivated the nation at the time. There had never been a transgender woman as fair as her, and 10 years later she remains one of the most idolized figures in the entertainment industry.
Before the kingdom’s most beautiful transgender woman, Poyd was a little boy in Phuket who knew at 4 she was born to be a woman. She put on a friend’s skirt and was beaten by her mother for it.
She was forced to play football and given typical toys for little boys like robots, but in her closet, Poyd kept a Barbie doll, and it wasn’t long until she came out to her family.
Poyd decided to go through a sex-change operation at 18 and traveled to Pattaya to compete for Miss Tiffany 2004. She won. She then represented Thailand at the Miss International Contest in the same year and won that, creating a frenzy in the kingdom as Poyd was yet the most feminine and beautiful transgender woman they’d ever seen.

Little ladyboys slay in Victoria’s Secret-inspired costumes (PHOTOS)

Photos of two Thai boys in flamboyant costumes made from materials found in rural Thailand went viral just before the actual Victoria’s Secret fashion show was held in Paris. And boy, did they work it.
The photos feature two young internet personalities in fancy lingerie and wings, obviously inspired by Victoria’s Secret angels.
Their costumes are made from objects that remind Thais of all things local: canvas, chicken coops, grass tufts, flowers and leaves. Some dresses represent authentic Thai culture, like a neon ferris wheel that is a symbol of a Thai temple fair, or a jumpsuit made from a colorful traditional sarong.
The amateur models, looking no older than 10 years old, strike their poses in a rice field, the most familiar Northeast setting. Both boys smize, and Tyra Banks would be so proud of them.
An older ladyboy, who goes by Suchanatda Kaewsa-nga on Facebook is the mastermind behind the costumes and she is the one who shared the photos.
Many say that these kids are following in the footsteps of Madeow, the 17-year-old trans designer who became famous for making fancy costumes from household objects. This year Madeow made it to TIME’s list of Next Generation Leaders.
Maybe this is the reason that RuPaul’s Drag Race hasn’t made it to Thai audiences? These baby ladyboys are slaying it before they would’ve even had a chance to grow up and audition.
