Jung Young Ji may not be too well known a name in Western circles, but the South Korean bodybuilder is one of the top female bodybuilders in Asia.

The 2008 IFBB Sacramento Pro was the first pro win for Huong Arcinas. She entered her first show in 2003, and turned pro in 2007. She was born in Bangkok Thailand and came to the United States as a baby. At a height of only 5’0” she competes at under 100lbs, with measurements of 32-21-31. She lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and children. You can visit Huong's website for much more on her.
Born in Osaka Japan, Tomoko Kanda had a background in swimming and kendo style martial arts before getting into bodybuilding. A graduate of Osaka Women's University, Tomoko has an MBA and works as a translator.

So here is my second article about Asian fitness beauties. This time we have female bodybuilders, fitness competitors, fitness models, female fitness trainers but, no female MMA fighters (well...one new one). But to make up for that, we have a very popular female pro wrestler and a very successful female boxer. Who says this isn't diverse? And these ladies are from all over too. The US, Canada, Japan, China, Singapore and the Philippines. So let's start out with a lady that used to be a WWE Diva, then a TNA Knockout, then a WWE Diva and back to a TNA Knockout....
This is the lovely Gail Kim. Gail (in case you didn't know) is a Canadian born pro wrestler of Korean descent. Even if the matches in wrestling are scripted, you have to be in phenomenal physical shape or somebody is gonna get hurt in the ring. Gail started out wrestling for Indy Canadian promotions and was signed by the WWE in 2002. She left the WWE in 2004 and went to TNA in 2005. Then she left TNA in 2007 and went back to the WWE in 2008. THEN she left the WWE again...and went back to TNA! She has held both the TNA Women's Knockout Championship and the WWE Women's Championship.
This is Filipino-American female boxer Ana Julaton. I've done write ups on wrestlers, female MMA fighters and kickboxers here before, but I think Ana may be the first boxer I've done anything on. Though I did do an entry about her a while back on one of my Beautiful But Deadly Hubs . Ana was born on July 5th, 1980 in San Francisco, California. Her current boxing record is 14-4-1. Anna has now moved into MMA and has a 2-2-0 record there.
Krissy Chin is a Physical Therapist, Fitness Model and IFBB Figure Pro. This five foot four inch, one hundred and twenty three pound beauty was born and raised in Long Island New York. She has got to be one of the most active competitors on the circuit today. Just look at her contest history.... Xin Li Cao - Asian Female Bodybuilders (FTV Video)
This is Chinese-American bodybuilder "Lili" Xin Li Cao (or Cao Xin Li). She was born in Mongolia in 1981, started practicing Judo at the age of 12, switched to weightlifting at 15, and then started bodybuilding training in 1998. Lili has competed in the 2000 General Assembly Session of the National Sports Competition, the Chinese national Bodybuilding championship, the Asian Bodybuilding Championship, the Chinese national, and Asian bodybuilding championships among others, and has won many of them. Despite her obvious size and power, when you watch videos of this lady, she seems... cute. I know cute isn't a word usually associated with massive bodybuilders, but she seems to have a very open and sweet disposition.
Born Milagros Lyen Wong Aseguinolaza on August 5th,1980 in Matanzas, Cuba, Lyen Wong is a German-Cuban fitness athlete of Spanish, African and Chinese decent.. Lyen started out as a female fitness trainer in 2003 and then moved into fitness competitions in 2005. MC Barao - Asian Female Fitness Model
MC Barao stands 5'4" weighs 109 pounds and was born in the Philippines and raised in Houston Texas. Her website is up at http://www.mcbarao.com/ I have no idea if she has been in any figure competitions, if she's a personal trainer (although I did read where she said she wanted to help people with their fitness goals) or anything like that. She's slender, but very well defined.
Michiko Nishiwaki - Asian Fitness Models
Former female bodybuilder, powerlifter, actress, female fitness trainer, stunt woman, martial artist and fight choreographer (whew!) Michiko Nishiwaki (Nishiwaki Michiko) , was born on November 21st, 1957 in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan. As with a lot of fitness stars, Michiko started out in gymnastics. Because of the gymnastics, her legs were larger than the rest of her, so she turned to weightlifting to try to balance things out. It must have worked, because Michiko became a powerlifter. Japan's first female powerlifting champion as a matter of fact, and eventually Japan's first female bodybuilding champion which was very unusual for a woman in Japanese society at that time. She went on to open three fitness gyms with her brother. Michiko started acting in 1985 when she caught the eye of Jackie Chan. Jackie put her in his film, " My Lucky Stars " a Hong Kong martial arts/comedy film as a Japanese fighter. (and if you get to see it, she looks awesome!) Michiko got several roles in Hong Kong movies after that, usually playing a villain or a femme fatale. After that, she returned to Japan, but then went to Thailand and made a few more films. Eventually she came to the US and began a career as a stunt woman appearing in a lot of movies you may have seen, but had no idea that she was in. Movies like Blade, Man on the Moon, Charlie's Angels, Rush Hour 2, The Scorpion King, Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Memoirs of a Geisha and Resident Evil: Extinction . She also worked on 2009's Afro Ninja as Yuko. Michiko has stunt doubled for Lucy Liu in four films and Kelly Hu in one.
Filipina IFBB figure competitor, fitness model and certified personal trainer Meriza DeGuzman Ciccone is proof that good things come in small packages. She's just under 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds, but this little lady sure packs a lot of muscle. This young woman has quite a few competitions under her belt...... Mi-Hee Yu - Asian Female Bodybuilder
I couldn't find a lot of info on former aerobics instructor Korean female bodybuilder Mi-Hee Yu . I did find out that she has had two children and started training AFTER she had them. She says that her weight had gotten up to 176 after the birth of her second daughter and she wanted to lose some weight so she took up bodybuilding. Bodybuilding is an amateur sport in South Korea, so she doesn't get paid for it, she just does it for the love of the sport. By the way, all of this muscle is packed onto a 5' 2½", 112-pound frame. And she's an all natural bodybuilder.
Dale Tomita - Asian Female Fitness Models
If you looked at any muscle magazines in the 1990s, you probably saw some pictures of Dale Tomita . Dale was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1964 and is of Japanese-American descent. Like I said, this 5 foot 2 inch, 116 pound beauty graced the cover and insides of many of the major fitness mags. And like several other fitness competitors, Dale started out in gymnastics until an injury forced to give that up. Proving that good things really do come in small packages we have Filipino fitness beauty Khay Rosemond. Khay is five feet even, weighs 94 pounds and was born in Quezon City, Philippines in 1977. She and her family moved to North America when she was eight, splitting up her time between Southern California and British Colombia before they finally settled in Southern Cal. Besides fitness, Valerie is a medical sales rep in Edmonton in Canada AND she is a poker journalist who writes for PokerPro Magazine.
43 year old Sasha (Alexandra) Porshnikoff is of Russian and Japanese descent. Yeah....I said 43. She got into weightlifting in High School...got out of it and then got back into it after giving birth. Yeah...43 and a mom. She is five foot four and weighs 128 pounds.

It looks like Korea may be trying to usurp Brazil as the home of fitness models. This young lady is Yoo Seung Ok. She is referred to as an "hourglass goddess", which means she is fit, but still has all her curves. Yoo is not only a fitness model. but a "regular" model as well (she appeared in Esquire) and also an actress in Korean soap operas.
