Attended the United Nations International School, a private international school in Manhattan, NY, for her freshman year of high school. After being expelled due to poor grades, she attended Washington Irving High School, a public school in Gramercy Park, for her sophomore and junior years. I'm part of the new era of porn. We're feminists, very sex-positive people. We're not victims of rape, not drug addicts, we don't have any daddy issues.

[on her distaste for the word "porn"] I think my distaste for the term also comes from the fact that so many people try to use their definition of the term against me. As if I'm the problem.

I have sex for money, so I'm not a feminist? I portray sexual fantasies on screen for entertainment, so I'm not a feminist? I like to wear make-up and feel sexy, so I'm not a feminist? Fuck you, I'm a feminist.

As cliché as it sounds, I really do look back at my life without any regrets, because everything I've done has brought me to this point. I can't imagine I'll feel differently about porn: it's brought me happiness, friends, maturity, money, and countless opportunities to do other things, like authoring two books and being a columnist for Men's Health! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have spent my adult life making a living doing something I love.

There was a time in my life when I had a five-year plan: I was going to do porn for two years, save my money, and use it to open up a yoga studio. But it's now a decade later, and I barely even do yoga anymore.

At the end of the day, sex workers are just regular people. Our culture has to end the stigma surrounding not just sex workers, but sex itself. Only then will real change come.

Fans and supporters are not the problem; it's the people who are anti-porn, or at least wish to appear so. By anti-porn, I don't mean someone who doesn't watch porn, I mean someone who assumes all sex-workers must be damaged or morally corrupt. I mean someone who says, "But you're too pretty to do porn," refusing to take a woman at her word when she says she chooses to do porn because she wants to. While I'm sure many of these people are perfectly nice and well-intentioned (and some of them probably even watch porn!), they're adding to the stigma surrounding sex workers - and we are not second-class-citizens.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with me shooting porn - I am having safe sex and fulfilling my fantasy of being watched by eager and horny viewers. The career choice has afforded me self-worth, a comfortable lifestyle, and the kind of sex life that most people can only dream about. If there are people out there who think that's bad, then so be it; I'll be orgasming all the way to the bank.

When I'm in a social situation, I actually pretend I'm being paid to be there and talk to people. It weirdly takes the pressure off of getting rejected, or "failing" to be engaging. Because if those things happen, oh, well, I still did my job.

In my own personal experience, I have found that the healthier the diet, the more inoffensive-tasting the jizz; the unhealthier the diet, the worse it tastes. In fact, I am proud to say that once, upon sampling one gentleman's seed, it tasted so bad that I gently recommended he go to the doctor to see where his insulin levels are. The doctor reported he was, in fact, pre-diabetic, and through an improved diet and exercise, he was able to avoid a lifelong disease. To this day, this is still one of my proudest moments.

If wanting sex everyday is wrong, then who would want to be right?

“True. It’s like training wheels, I guess. It took me a while to get into songwriting gear. The next one I wrote when I was 19 or 20. I started to get into writing with the other guys. I was writing in tandem with Jerry and Phil particularly. And Pigpen would chip in as well.” – Bob Weir
“When Jerry was writing, he would do what he was gonna do. And then maybe he would bring it to the band and we would arrange it, more or less. So it was kind of a co-writing situation in that regard. And there was a lot of stuff we all co-wrote.” – Bob Weir
“The whole band playing together. Back then, we’d pretty much rehearse daily. A lot of that was jamming. And from that came a lot of music that we turned into songs. Then we’d apply lyrics to the best we could. Until Robert Hunter came along. Hunter changed that dynamic because he was just better at it than we were.” – Bob Weir
“If my memory serves me correctly, and it may not here, I think he was with us when we were working that one up. We were in Florida at a festival down there, and we had a day off, or a day when we weren’t scheduled to play until later in the day.” – Bob Weir
“Yes. Early on, Jerry and I worked up a lot of Everly Brothers tunes. And tunes of that nature, you know, country tunes. We patterned ourselves after the Everly Brothers [laughs]. Their style was fading then but they were hugely influential on us.” – Bob Weir

“I never had a particular sound. There was no Lou Adler sound like there’s a Phil Spector sound. I always tried to make the records about the artists and their particular sound.” – Lou Adler
“He made an enormous amount of money in the record business as a result of owning so much of what I was doing… I owned all those albums and continued to own my catalog.” – Lo
