The Anchorage Sports Association is a member-driven non-profit (501(c)3) organization serving Anchorage, Alaska, since 1975.

Our mission is to promote athletics among young people and adults in the Anchorage area at all levels of play, providing a fun, competitive atmosphere for friends, family, and coworkers to come together to play the sports they love. We are proud of the community we have built here in Anchorage and around the state of Alaska over the last 45 years, and we look forward to finding more ways to serve our Association members and the greater Anchorage community.
Our major sports are basketball , softball , volleyball , and futsal . Each sport is governed by councils made up of members who participate in the respective leagues. The association belongs to the players! We also offer pickleball and different youth sports .
The Anchorage Sports staff works with these councils to run leagues and tournaments. The overall organization governance is overseen by the Executive Board, which is made up of members from each sports council.

It is with great honor to introduce myself as your ASA President for 2021-2022!
As leaders of our respective districts, it is even more important to lean on each other as we continue through these unprecedented times. The theme I chose this year, “Stronger and Better Together” guides us all to not only work together as Superintendents, but with all of our partners across the state. I look forward to sharing more throughout the year and serving in this role as we continue to build strong educational systems for children across our great state.
