This practice exam tests your ability to design a secure wired and wireless campus network, including your ability to design a management and remote access solution for an enterprise mobility project using Aruba OS (AOS) 8.3. In particular, the candidate must demonstrate that he is able to design the following solutions: design for redundancy, VLAN, WLAN SSID, user roles / policies, QoS design, network security and authentication. The exam includes a VisualRF exercise for RF planning and assessing the number of access points on a floor plan. The candidate should also plan the wired infrastructure and recommend new Aruba switches. He will also be asked to design a Meridian solution.

Candidate

Candidates for this certification are generally network professionals with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the design of complex enterprise networks of the “Mobility First” type. Candidates should be able to create detailed BOMs using Aruba Controllers, Access Points, Instant, Switches and AirWave for secure Voice and Guest deployments. Candidates should be familiar with AOS 8.3, AirWave 8.2 Visual RF, Aruba Instant, Aruba, Meridian, ClearPass, and AirWave switches. The ability to use IRIS is also recommended.
