Artistic gymnastics

Artistic gymnastics is a branch of gymnastics in which athletes perform short routines on different instruments. The sport is managed by the International Gymnastics Federation, which designs point codes and regulates all aspects of elite international competitions.

What is the difference between gymnastics and artistic gymnastics?

At its core, rhythmic gymnastics is about expression and style: rhythmic gymnasts leap, twist, and dance to music. On the other hand, artistic gymnastics is more technical, compensating for accurate movement and exercise intensity.

History

Artistic gymnastics was introduced at the first Olympic Games in Athens in 1896, and has existed in all editions of the games since then. Initially, it consisted of areas that were difficult to classify as "artistic" such as climbing and acrobatics. 먹튀검증

How it works

Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercise that requires balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. Gymnastics-related movements contribute to the development of arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups.

Gymnastics in the United States is divided into stages 1 to 10, groups for beginners (steps 1 to 3) and groups for seniors or professionals (steps 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 10), the latter being the most competitive.

Scoring

Gymnasts have D points for difficulty and E points for execution. The difficulty score is based on the action performed and scores between 0.1 and 1.0 points per movement. Women get the final D score with the top 8 moves and men get the top 10 moves.

The team with the highest cumulative team score wins. The team final determines the top eight rankings of the men's and women's team competitions, including gold, silver, and bronze. The 24 gymnasts with the highest individual cumulative points from the qualifying round will advance to the individual all-around final.

Benefits

The physical benefits of gymnastics are probably most obvious. Gymnasts practice flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in each class. These technologies improve bone health and delay the development of high blood pressure. Living a healthy lifestyle prepares children for a promising future.
