Artemis II Astronauts Set to Shatter Records in Historic Moon Mission

The countdown to history has begun. NASA’s Artemis II mission is set to launch four astronauts on a journey around the Moon, marking the first time humans will venture beyond low Earth orbit since the Apollo era. Commander Reid Stanton, a veteran of two space shuttle missions, will lead the crew, joined by pilot Victor Gomez, mission specialist Amara Patel, and the first woman to fly on a lunar mission, lunar module pilot Elena Vasquez.
