A selection of some of Art Wetherell's mixed media paintings, completed using a blend of spray paints, acrylics, pencils, watercolours and rapidograph pens on hardboard. The themes of these personal paintings illustrate his passions and interests, which range from cosmic and gothic horror to Norse mythology, 1950's pinups and of course, comics.
Wetherell's simple art is adequate for the stories, which usually revolve around Jabba thinking he has the upper hand in a deal, only for a double-cross, and then Jabba gets his petty revenge.

Art Wetherell (April 23rd 1961 — December 25th 2003) was a British comics artist whose credits included Death's Head, Transformers and The Incredible Hulk Presents for Marvel UK and work for 2000 AD and Harrier Comics. He also drew a number of adult comics for Eros, and worked on Star Wars for Dark Horse.
