But Ariel Winter seems to be living her best life.
The 23-year-old actress shared some scintillating bikini snaps from her getaway on her Instagram on Thursday.

The 26-year-old actor donned a white floral button down shirt as he cuddled up with his ladylove in a few snaps.
No doubt they were in for a fun few days together as Ariel proudly showed off the digital version of the iconic Catan board game on her iPad in one of the snaps.

The pair seem to be going from strength to strength as back in May, Winter penned a touching tribute to Benward in celebration of his 26th birthday, which she proudly shared to Instagram.
'Happy 26th to the most special man that gives me alllllllll the feels allllllllllll the time,' she began. 'I love you. I am beyond grateful for you. I feel incredibly lucky to spend each day together enjoying the great days and working through the tough days that we can’t go at alone.'
She went on to note that Benward had been her 'safe space and guiding light through all of the tough days' in 2020 and that 'thankful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel❤️'
Along with her sweet message, Ariel included several of her favorite pics of Luke, as well as shots of them together.

Meanwhile, Ariel recently revealed that she has been in therapy for eight years.
Winter said she is 'doing quite well' now but admitted that she struggled during the coronavirus lockdown and she knows she isn't the only person to have seen her mental health suffer over the last year.
She told Entertainment Tonight : 'The pandemic was hard. For some, harder than others. It's devastating to see the effect it's had on a lot of people, especially mental health-wise.'
Ariel continued, 'For me, I'm very fortunate. I've been in therapy twice a week for eight years. It's the best part of my week.'

Winter- who has been undergoing trauma therapy for the last year - doesn't like being famous but she is happy to use her position in the public eye to promote better mental health awareness.
She said: 'I'm on medication. I think it's important to fully normalize mental health and the use of mental health medications.
'So, I've tried to share that with my followers.

'I don't particularly like the fame aspect of the industry. I don't like getting my picture taken when I didn't consent to get my picture taken. I like to have a bit of a private life, so I try to keep that, as well.
'But, I do want people to know that life is difficult for everyone in general.'
Meanwhile, Ariel - who was legally emancipated from her parents in 2015 - has offered her support to Britney Spears, who is trying to have her conservatorship removed.
She said: 'I support Britney. I think Britney is incredible. Her story's incredibly moving. I listened to her testimony.

'I think she is so smart, so capable. She should absolutely be free to live her life, be in control of her life, in control of herself. I think it's absurd that this is the situation that she has to be in. I think the justice system, unfortunately, is corrupt.
'I feel for her. I hope she gets to be in control of her life, her situation, everything, as soon as possible.
'I truly hope that people who have kept her away from doing that do suffer some sort of consequences, because she deserves all the happiness, the freedom, the love and the control of her life that she should have.'

Ariel Winter kicked off the new year with a tiny bathing suit and an ocean view.
On Wednesday, the "Modern Family" star, 21, shared a video of herself on Instagram peering out into the ocean while sporting a thong bikini showing off her toned backside.
"✌🏼2020✌🏼 #happynewyear ✌🏼" she captioned the video.
The television star appears happy and relaxed as she turns toward the camera with a smile on her face and throws two peace signs into the air.
Winter stayed covered up on top by wearing a white long-sleeve cropped shirt and oversized black sunglasses.
The 21-year-old was solo in the video but tagged @MackFit, a private training gym.
In November, Winter opened up about switching antidepressant medications with Women's Health and shared how the change helped kick-start her weight loss .
"Years ago, it was hard because I'd go to the gym with my trainer and because of my antidepressant medications I never saw results," she revealed. "I didn't change my antidepressants because I wanted to lose weight, I'd just accepted it and it was fine."
The actress said it wasn't until she found the right combination that she felt her metabolism "turned back on."
"When I changed meds, and started feeling better about myself mentally, losing weight was helpful because it made me feel like I wasn't just stuck. I hate being stuck anywhere in life."

Ariel Winter ‘s proud of her body and not afraid to show it off.

The 20-year-old Modern Family actress flashed her rear end for the camera in a skimpy black thong bikini while laying on the ground on top of a white towel.

“As if!” Winter captioned the photo .

Despite having to deal with online trolls who hate on Winter for showing her skin, the actress has defended her right to bare her body on the internet.

“If you want to wear a short skirt and show your body like I do, it doesn’t mean you’re a whore. And it doesn’t mean you’re not one,” Winter, told The Hollywood Reporter . “People call me stupid because I post photos of my butt when the real thing is, I love my butt. I love butts! Why stifle yourself because other people can’t handle it?”

In 2015, Winter decided to reduce her breasts from a size 32F to a 34D after facing online bullying – and dealing with “excruciating” back pain.

“I think it will be the only [cosmetic surgery] I’ll have done, but I’m extremely happy with the decision I made,” she told PEOPLE about her surgery. “It’s important to talk about it because there are young girls suffering like I did, but there shouldn’t be a stigma about it.”

Over the years, Winter hasn’t been shy about clapping back at people who comment on her body or style. She previously told PEOPLE , “My thing is that I feel good about myself, and that’s what’s important.”

The actress told Women's Health she's on a mission to get a "big butt."
Ariel Winter has been completely killing it on Instagram lately, and she naturally started off 2020 with an attention-grabbing post.In the new IG video, the Modern Family star is standing by the ocean in a green thong bikini and sparkly top. She pushes her hair back, turns to the camera, flashes a peace sign, and then a double peace sign. "✌🏼2020✌🏼#happynewyear ✌🏼," she wrote in the caption.
Standard celeb stuff, right? But Ariel's butt…OMG. It looks ridiculously toned—and plenty of people noticed in the comments. “Make a guy swoon for sure,” one fan wrote. “Gorgeous!!” another said. And, of course, there were enough fire emojis to burn down Instagram.
Ariel spent 2019 working hard for that booty. She told Women’s Health back in October that she was on a mission to get a "big butt." The actress said she had a new outlook on working out after she switched her antidepressants, and her body changed as a result. “When I changed meds, and started feeling better about myself mentally, losing weight was helpful because it made me feel like I wasn’t just stuck. I hate being stuck anywhere in life,” she said.
Ariel added that she’s big on strength training. “I’ll do cardio occasionally, but I’m not looking to lose any more weight , I’m looking to gain muscle,” she explained. Her trainer MackFit also told Women’s Health in November that he focuses on circuit training that combines strength and cardio exercises for his celebrity client. That includes sliders, curtsy lunges, jump squats, plank up-downs, plank jacks, and knee tuck shoulder taps.
While Ariel is working hard at the gym, she said she doesn't care about losing weight. “I don’t weigh myself," she noted. Instead, Ariel said she’s simply trying to eat healthier. “I know eating a ton of cheese, bread, greasy food isn’t great for my heart or my insides so I’m working on that,” she explained. So, she’s swapped ground beef burgers for turkey burgers and tries to do more meal prep. “I’m trying to make more foods that will last me throughout the week,” she said.
Clearly, 2020 is already looking good for this celeb.
