Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and result-oriented Civil Construction Superintendents / Supervisors / Engineers for our Petrochemical Plant Construction Project in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. The ideal candidates will take full responsibility for managing civil and structural construction activities within their assigned zone. You will ensure that all works—especially industrial formwork systems—are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all civil construction activities, concrete works, and structural works in the assigned area.
Manage and supervise the installation and dismantling of industrial formwork systems.
Plan, allocate, and track manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity.
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly work plans in accordance with the master project schedule and budget constraints.
Monitor daily progress, prepare accurate field reports, and report deviations to the Construction Manager immediately.
Supervise subcontractor performance, ensuring quality standards and engineering drawings are strictly followed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, specifically within industrial facilities, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects.
Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in industrial formwork and scaffolding systems, scaffolding, rebar, and large-scale concrete pouring.
Languages: Fluent in Russian (essential for local team coordination) and English (for technical documentation and management reporting).
HSE Commitment: A proven track record of maintaining zero-accident policies and ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations in high-risk environments.
Competencies: Strong planning, resource management, and problem-solving skills.
