Ardent Worship is the first live album by the Christian rock band Skillet. It was released in 2000 by Ardent Records seven months after Invincible .
It is a worship album consisting of both live and studio recordings of six songs written by Skillet and four songs covering other artists. Original Skillet members Ken Steorts and Trey McClurkin appear on Safe With You and Shout To The Lord to finish the live set with fellow founding member John Cooper. This is the only Skillet album with no music videos and the first album with Lori Peters on drums.
Two songs come from previous Skillet albums, Safe With You being from their self-titled album and Angels Fall Down being the hidden track on Invincible .

I bought this in 2012 and still listening in 2021...people question who they are singing about heres your awnser. I have all their cds.
the disc was protected so it would not break in transit, the disc was in really good shape..i like the variety of cds you have ,i would recommend this site to others for their music needs...
Anyone who doesn't think that Skillet is "Christian enough" obviously has not listened to this album. Just pure, "ardent," worship.
This is a live cd which usally means its hard to enter into the experance, NOT SO with this cd Skillet is AWESOME and this is truely an amzing worship cd. a most own.
This sounds to me like a live ablum done by a young 'Skillet' with minimal production. But it is a great addition to your collection if you are a real Skillet fan.
This is some of the older stuff from Skillet.....but would add to any CD collection....Great praise music from a wonderful christian rock/metal band....you'll be blessed for sure.Strong vocals from John Cooper and band.
Thanks for this cd! Great songs A++++

Ardent Worship is the fourth album overall by the Christian rock band Skillet (Band) . It was released in 2000 by Ardent Records seven months after Invincible (Album) . John Cooper wanted to release this in early 2001 but got pushed back. John Cooper also wanted "You're In My Brain" on this album (because he thought "The One" was a better closing track to Invincible) but got put on Invincible instead.
