Aramco Builds Ties with the UK at the Energy Exports Conference
Arthur WilleyThe European arm of Saudi countrywide oil agency Aramco is aiming to deepen ties with supply chain UK at the Energy Exports Conference in Aberdeen next month.
A delegation from Aramco Europe will head to the P&J Live for the conference, which takes place from June 11-12 (2024).
Aramco will lead a series of presentations on business opportunities for UK energy supply chain companies throughout diverse sectors. The focus is on energy transition.
Aramco executives will even host one-to-one conferences with collaborating companies at the two-day event, hosted by the Energy Industries Council (EIC).
EIC chief executive officer Stuart Broadley stated: “Our purpose is to hyperlink the global energy sector, allowing businesses to discover export possibilities, including diversification, and foster growth.”
“Aramco Europe’s participation in the conference indicates the value of direct interactions with global key operators for the UK supply chain.”
“In these tough-market situations, identifying new avenues for growth and resilience is important.”
In a new meeting with Energy Voice, Mr Broadley said, “The EIC needs to exhibit to the UK supply chain the plenty of chances worldwide work can give.”
Mr Broadley expressed: "We as EIC, we've been around for 81 years at this point and our entire intention is, and keeps on being, to assist companies with export."
Bringing up that "the UK is just 2% of the world's energy market", Mr Broadley said that the UK energy suppliers are missing their opportunities by not checking international opportunities.
