The company Lumiunited and Xiaomi have developed two types of light keys or switches, both equipped with ZIGBee technology that will be in charge of communicating with the Gateway.

The first model is valid to replace our current light switch, just extract our current set and connect the cables in the Aqara wall switch.

Later we will be able to create intelligent scenes with the rest of devices of the range My Home and we will be able to control remotely the actions on the switch from our terminal.

The second model is a wireless switch so we do not have to disassemble anything, just leave it where we want or take it with us throughout the house.

The wall model supports a consumption of 16A which is usually the European standard, can also handle consumption between 3W and 1500W, if that consumption is exceeded or if the switch reaches a temperature higher than 60 degrees centigrade, the protection mechanism would cut the supply to avoid damage.

In addition, it has passed the CQC certification in which the switch is tested 50000 times without failure, more than enough for a home.
