ApplySmart is a Chrome browser extension that helps job seekers analyze how well their resume matches job descriptions. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Data We Collect
Information You Provide:
- Email address and name: Collected via Google Sign-In
- Resume text: Extracted from your uploaded PDF resume
- Job descriptions: Content you analyze from job sites
How We Use Your Data
- Resume Analysis: Sent to AI to generate match scores, cover letters, and resume bullets
- Account Management: Email identifies your account
- Analysis History: Stored for your reference
Data Storage and Security
- Google OAuth for secure sign-in - we never store your password
- Data stored securely in Supabase with encryption
- All transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- AI processing by Groq - data not stored after processing

We do NOT sell your data, share with employers, or use for advertising.
